Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about Youroom Carrozze? It’s tucked right into this impossibly narrow cobblestone street where most Rome hotels wouldn’t even fit – I mean, Via delle Carrozze is basically an alley, but honestly, that’s exactly what makes it perfect. You’re literally a two-minute stumble from the Spanish Steps, but somehow you’ve escaped all that tourist chaos the moment you duck inside.
The thing about this place is it feels like someone actually thought about what travelers need instead of just cramming beds into a historic building and calling it boutique. The rooms are compact – well, it’s Rome, everything’s compact – but they’re designed smart. Really good lighting (thank god, because Roman hotels can be dungeon-dark), and the bathrooms are surprisingly modern without feeling sterile. I stayed there in September and barely heard any street noise, which is sort of miraculous considering you’re in the heart of everything. The staff actually knows the neighborhood too – not just the obvious tourist spots, but where to grab decent coffee at 6 AM or which little enoteca stays open late on Sundays.
What really won me over was the location’s secret advantage. Sure, you’re steps from Via del Corso and all that high-end shopping, but you’re also perfectly positioned for the stuff that makes Rome actually liveable. There’s this tiny alimentari right around the corner where locals grab their groceries, and you can walk to Trastevere in fifteen minutes if you know the right route through the old streets. The hotel feels like it exists in that sweet spot between authentic Roman life and tourist convenience – you’ll see plenty of both from your window, depending on which way you’re facing. Check-in was smooth (they held my bags for hours without any fuss), and honestly, for a 4-star place with an 8.5 rating, it delivers exactly what you’d hope for without any pretentious nonsense. It’s just a really solid, well-located hotel that gets the basics right and doesn’t try to be something it’s not.

Superb – Lovre from Switzerland – 3 July 2025 (9/10)
Our stay at Youroom Carrozze was fantastic. The room was clean and the communication with Federica was quick, easy and highly appreciated! Even special requests were not a problem.
The location is perfect to explore Rome: the Metro is closeby and you can go everywhere by foot.
What could be improved: Our only negative comment: the minibar did not seem to be working.Excellent apartment in the heart of Rome – Eliso from Georgia – 25 June 2025 (10/10)
Very Nice, spacious and very clean room with comfy bed. Excellent location near to almost all attractions. Self check-in but without problems, every request was solved easily via phone communication. If you plan to use kitchen for cooking, then it's not allowed. There is only kettle for tea/coffee (no pot or pan), but it's still super convenient for breakfasts or simple late night meals ♥ Plenty cafes nearby.
We are very satisfied our stay here – Klaudia from Poland – 12 April 2025 (10/10)

Location of an apartment is superb. Very close to every attraction in Rome and very convenient connection from an airport.
Full remote access to the room with constant support via WhatsApp.Great place to stay! – Joe from United States – 20 October 2024 (10/10)
The staff addressed all concerns, which were minimal, in a timely and pleasant manner. Steps away from good food, transport & ancillary needs.
We had a very pleasant stay – Tanya from Australia – 19 September 2024 (9/10)

Superb – Fyndia from Cyprus – 20 June 2024 (9/10)
The staff were very helpful. The a/c of our room was not working and could not be fixed. The staff arranged for us to move to another hotel near the area since the hotel was fully booked without paying anything extra.
Good – Lisa from Ireland – 13 June 2024 (7/10)
We loved the location , right beside spanish steps, metro on doorstep and walking distance to a lot of attractions
Lovely tidy room and bathroom, however much smaller than we were led to believe in photos.
Bed very comfortable and lovely shower
What could be improved: The access to the apartment is not good system..through your phone..if phone dies how do you get in… No keys given
Apartment shared with other people in the other rooms…so they are sharing communal area where coffee machine is… which had no milk provided to make coffee
Day of leaving contact person was extremely rude when asking us to leave I explained we needed just 15-20 more minutes and she wouldn't let me speak just shouting down the phone to get out after paying over 1,000 euro for a room for 4 nights I think is extremely rude and unprofessional. I will not be staying or recommending this place againExceptional – Stefan from Montenegro – 5 March 2024 (10/10)
Everything was very good! Amazing location,in the heart of the city. We’ll definitely come back again!
