Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about this place? The name actually undersells it – “View on Campo de Fiori” sounds nice enough, but when you’re standing in that apartment looking out at one of Rome’s most vibrant squares, it hits different. I mean, you’re literally watching the morning market vendors set up their stalls while you’re having your coffee, then later seeing the whole piazza transform into this buzzing social scene once the sun goes down.
The location on Via dei Baullari is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Rome rather than just visiting it. You’re tucked away on this quieter street (well, quieter by Roman standards), but step out your door and you’re maybe thirty seconds from Campo de Fiori’s chaos, two minutes from the Pantheon, and right in the heart of the Centro Storico. I actually stayed here during late spring, and the energy was incredible – though I’ll be honest, if you’re a super light sleeper, bring earplugs because Campo de Fiori doesn’t really quiet down until pretty late, especially on weekends. The Romans take their nightlife seriously.
What really makes this apartment special is how it manages to feel both historic and comfortable. The building itself has that authentic Roman character – thick walls, those shuttered windows that actually keep the summer heat out (trust me on this), and you can tell it’s been here for centuries. But inside, everything works properly, which honestly isn’t always a given in Rome’s historic center. The WiFi was solid when I needed to catch up on work, the shower had decent pressure, and the kitchen was actually functional if you want to grab fresh ingredients from the market downstairs and cook something simple. There’s something really satisfying about shopping for dinner ingredients in the same square where Romans have been buying food for literally hundreds of years.
The apartment gets that 9.2 rating for good reason – it’s one of those places where the little details add up. The host was responsive without being pushy, check-in was smooth, and they clearly know what travelers actually need. Plus, and this might sound silly, but having a proper view of Campo de Fiori means you sort of become part of the daily rhythm of the neighborhood. You start recognizing the regular vendors, you figure out which café makes the best cornetto, you learn that the flower guy always has the freshest arrangements around 10 AM. It’s those small discoveries that make a trip memorable, you know? If you’re looking for that authentic Roman experience without sacrificing comfort – and you don’t mind being right in the middle of everything – this place delivers exactly what it promises.

You won't regret this amazing location! – Orla from United States – 26 June 2025 (9/10)
We loved the location, ac in every room, two bathrooms and a nice dining area. We didn't use the kitchen much but it looked to have everything you would need for cooking.
What could be improved: As others have said, the noise from the Campo can be a little loud, depending on the night. Italians stay out late so the music from the campo and restaurants goes on well past midnight. In saying that, I had brought earplugs that worked very well. The perfect place to stay – Clint from United States – 9 June 2025 (10/10)
Wow!!! This is not only the perfect place to stay, but it is a cultural experience to stay at home like this. It was such a beautiful layout that we could’ve stayed there for the rest of our lives. We loved it so much. You literally walk out your front door and there’s a great restaurant and the most incredible Square in Rome. I cannot say enough everything was absolutely perfect, and we could not have been any more pleased. This was the best stay from my entire family. We all agreed at the end of the trip.
What could be improved: Nothing it was perfectExceptional – Dayjavu from Australia – 22 April 2025 (10/10)
This apartment was perfect for our adult family for a week. The location with the market was wonderful and close to everything. With the windows open, the noise was loud, but with three layers of windows closed, it was perfectly silent inside. Roberto and particularly Irene were most helpful. I would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Rome.
What could be improved: The apartment has a private entry with stairs that go straight into the apartment without any further barrier, which was fine for us, but would be a concern for anyone with low vision or with younger children.Excellent accommodation in a central location – Carol from Ireland – 2 March 2025 (9/10)
Very comfortable, central and clean

Great location. The apartment is very spacious with three bedrooms and two spacious bathrooms, a kitchen and a central dining area. the photos don't do it justice.
What could be improved: It's a little noisy at night because it faces right onto Campo de' Fiori.Exceptional – Rania from Saudi Arabia – 12 July 2024 (10/10)
Great Location, Nice and homey decor in a lovely apartment and very clean.
We would stay here again! – Della from United States – 19 June 2024 (10/10)
The apartment was nice and quaint. The apartment owner/manager was easy to work with. The location was amazing. We ate at the restaurant below our apartment several times.
