The private parking situation alone is worth its weight in gold – I mean, anyone who’s tried to navigate Rome’s streets and then find a parking spot knows what I’m talking about. You just pull right in, grab your bags, and you’re done with the car stress.

The apartment itself is honestly more spacious than the photos suggest, which is rare these days. Four actual bedrooms, not some creative interpretation where they count a closet as a bedroom. The owner clearly gets that families or groups need space to spread out and not feel like they’re camping in each other’s pockets. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – Via Aurelia can be busy during the day, but once evening hits, it settles down nicely. The building has that solid, old-school Roman construction that just blocks out noise better than these newer places. You know what really sold me though? The kitchen actually has everything you need if you want to cook. Not just a hot plate and a prayer, but real pots, decent knives, even a proper coffee maker. After a few days of restaurant meals, being able to make a simple breakfast or late-night snack felt like luxury.

Getting around from here is actually pretty straightforward once you figure out the bus routes – the 46 and 98 will get you to the center, and honestly, sometimes the bus is faster than fighting Roman traffic in a cab. The Vatican is closer than you’d think, maybe a 20-minute walk if you’re feeling energetic, though I’d recommend the bus if it’s summer because that walk can be brutal in the heat. There’s a solid local market about five minutes away where you can grab fresh stuff, and the neighborhood has that lived-in feel where you see the same faces at the corner café each morning. The owner was responsive when I had questions, which you can’t always count on with vacation rentals. My only minor gripe is that the WiFi can be a bit spotty in the back bedrooms, but honestly, that might be a feature not a bug depending on how unplugged you want to be. For families or groups who want space, quiet, and a real taste of Roman neighborhood life without paying Vatican-area prices, this place just works.

  Very good and pleasant communication with the host (Elena). She answered promptly to all our questions. She even answered the phone when we asked for directions. The apartment is very spacious (actually there are two apartments joined together). Very clean. There are four separate room plus on very large living room. Two bathrooms, two kitchen. There is large terrasse that we did not use.
  
  What could be improved: One door to the terrasse needs to be fixed (still works but difficult to close). A support to dry the dishes (in the kitchen) would be useful. The table in one of the kitchens is damaged by water. There are marks of dogs chewing the heavy wood furniture in the living room – just esthetics. All these don't make the apartment less comfortable.

  L' appartamento è in un ottima posizione, comoda per raggiungere il Vaticano, luogo dove abbiamo passato i 3 giorni del Giubileo.
  Pulito e dotato di tutto il necessario per goderci il nostro soggiorno 😊.
  Il proprietario molto disponibile e solerte nel rispondere ad ogni richiesta. Immerso nel verde e nella quiete.

  Posizione ottima, vicino alla metro ed ad alcune fermate del pullman, molto ben collegato. Casa trovata in perfetto ordine e in perfetta pulizia sia degli ambienti comuni, che delle camere ed anche dei bagni. Molto spaziosa e comfortevole, perfetto anche lo spazio ampio fuori al balcone per stare un po' all'aria aperta.
  
  What could be improved: Unica pecca, anche se secondaria, migliorerei lo spazio dove prendere le chiavi quando si arriva, in quanto essendo vicino a delle piante potrebbe nascondere magari qualche animale non sempre gradito. Inoltre sarebbe ancora meglio con una pulizia più precisa anche all'esterno della porta di ingresso.

  Tivemos uma estadia excelente! A anfitriã foi extremamente prestativa e cuidadosa, nos ajudou em tudo o que precisamos com muita gentileza. A localização é ótima, pertinho do Vaticano e com ponto de ônibus bem em frente, o que facilitou muito nossos deslocamentos. O apartamento é amplo, confortável e atendeu perfeitamente ao nosso grupo. Recomendo com certeza!

  El apartamento es muy amplio, por lo que al ir un grupo de 10 personas es muy cómodo.
  Hay 2 baños, también positivo. Hay también una terraza que puedes disfrutar.
  Cerca también hay supermercados, restaurantes y transporte público que te acerca al centro en poco tiempo, aunque puedes ir tambien caminando. Cualquier problema, te atienden enseguida. Muy recomendable
