Hotel Description

I’ll be honest – when I first turned onto Via Augusto Valenziani, I wasn’t expecting much. It’s this quiet residential street in Parioli, and Trinity Luxury Rooms sits there pretty unassumingly between these elegant Roman apartment buildings. But you know what? That’s actually part of its charm. The entrance is subtle, almost like you’re walking into someone’s sophisticated home rather than a hotel. The lobby has this warm, intimate feel with rich fabrics and marble touches that don’t scream “look at me” but definitely whisper “I’m expensive” in the best way possible.

What really got me was how the staff seemed to actually know the neighborhood – I mean, they directed me to this tiny bakery three blocks over that I never would’ve found otherwise, and when I asked about getting to Villa Borghese, they suggested walking through these residential streets instead of the main road. Smart call, honestly. The rooms themselves are well… they’re definitely luxury, but in that understated Italian way. Beautiful linens, marble bathrooms that actually have good water pressure (trust me, this matters in Rome), and windows that open to let in that Mediterranean breeze. The air conditioning works great too, which you’ll appreciate in July. One thing though – if you’re a light sleeper, request a room facing the courtyard. The street side can get a bit noisy in the mornings with delivery trucks, but it’s Rome, so that’s just part of the experience.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Rome rather than just visiting it. You’re about a fifteen-minute walk to Villa Borghese, which means you can actually jog there in the mornings like the locals do. Via Veneto is close enough for that classic Roman nightlife scene, but far enough that you won’t hear it from your room. And here’s something I really appreciated – there’s a Metro B station at Policlinico about ten minutes away, so getting to the Colosseum or Vatican is straightforward without dealing with the chaos of the city center hotels. The 8.1 rating makes sense to me; it’s not trying to be the flashiest place in Rome, but everything works exactly as it should. The breakfast is good (proper Italian coffee, obviously), the service feels personal without being intrusive, and honestly, after a long day of walking around Roman ruins, coming back here felt like retreating to a sophisticated home base rather than just another hotel room.

Reviews

  • Everything was really nice – Sofia from Greece – 3 April 2025 (9/10)

Nice and clean room, close to Villa Borghese. Very kind and helpful staff. Recommended

  • Excellent location, spacious and clean room with all essentials for travelers – Elena from Moldova – 7 March 2025 (9/10)

I liked the room, its value is equal to money you are paying. On top of that it's situated not far from most of sightseeings, close to market and supermarkets.
The room was clean and bright. The staff was very kind and friendly, open for help.
What I would suggest for future – just to not use so much deodorizer inside the room, as the aroma it is emitted was quite intense at the first day of staying.
The rest was excellent! Big thank you!

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Overall good – Shehin from Malta – 30 January 2025 (8/10)

I booked the apartment through Booking.com, and it was spacious and well-equipped with basic amenities. It was also conveniently located near grocery stores, restaurants, and public transport. Also the staff was friendly and explained the map for visiting the nearest tourist places.

What could be improved: However, I had an issue with the payment process. Upon booking, they charged around €62 to my card, and I expected to pay the remaining balance at check-in. Instead, they charged me the full amount and informed me that the initial charge would take 10-15 days to be refunded. This was quite surprising and not how I've experienced bookings in the past.

  • Great apartment would book again – Lee from United Kingdom – 3 November 2024 (8/10)

Very nice sized property in good location, easy 15/20 min walk to key transport links with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The property team were most helpful from booking to departure and the property met our needs.

What could be improved: Double bed could do with a new mattress soon and not bowls for breakfast cereal.

  • Good – Chelsea from United Kingdom – 21 October 2024 (7/10)

It was clean and nice looking, staff were nice

What could be improved: Bit small, also no air con in October but it was still hot outside for a Brit who is used to cold by October so we were really hot in the room. Also really far away from everything, please expect to do a lot of walking to get anywhere!

  • Well worth it more with locals than tourists – Rosario from Canada – 24 July 2024 (9/10)

That I wasn t in the middle of the heavy traffic of the center city

  • Very nice front desk people who are always will to help. – Harley from United States – 24 June 2024 (9/10)

Good location, walking distance to most this including the dock for Capria, Amalfi and more

What could be improved: Rooms are small. When they say two people max, it only fits two people.

  • Highly recommend if location (quiet) and comfort are important to you. – Wally from United States – 19 April 2024 (9/10)

Location was great. Nearby restaurants, groceries, bus stop all within a short walk. Comfy bed, clean room, helpful staff. Very quiet location and just a short distance to major attractions. Wifi was very good.

What could be improved: The only window in our room was to a darkened, enclosed alley…but if you are using this as a place to sleep it shouldn't detour you.

  • Comfy and nice room – Clarissa from United Kingdom – 5 February 2024 (8/10)

Very nice room, good size especially if you are travelling with kids. bathroom as well very clean. Bed very comfy. we just stayed 1 night but we were ok. Location is good, we booked this place as we wanted to go to Xmas world which was very close.

  • Great place to stay in Rome! – Danielle from United Kingdom – 23 January 2024 (9/10)

The staff upon arrival were very nice and helpful, especially as I was a bit lost trying to find where to go as the rooms were found in an apartment complex. The room was a perfect size and in perfect distance of the attractions for a solo traveller like myself, the bed was comfy and the room/bathroom was clean! Complimentary coffee was also a very nice touch – thank you all very much, I would stay here again!

What could be improved: The only issue was trying to get into the building and finding reception, but apart from that, there is nothing else I can complain about!
