Trevi Miracle Suite Overview

Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of Roman hotels, and the Trevi Miracle Suite honestly surprised me. Walking up Via In Arcione, you’d almost miss it – it’s tucked between some local shops and doesn’t scream “tourist hotel” like so many places around here. That’s actually part of its charm. The street itself is pretty quiet, especially compared to the absolute chaos around the Trevi Fountain, which is literally a three-minute walk away. I mean, you can hear the fountain at night if you open your windows, but it’s more soothing than annoying – kind of like white noise from all the water.

The suite itself is what really got me though. It’s got this sort of modern-meets-Roman thing going on without being cheesy about it. High ceilings (thank god, because Roman summers are brutal), marble floors that actually keep things cool, and these massive windows that let in so much light. The bathroom is honestly bigger than some hotel rooms I’ve stayed in – double vanity, separate shower, and one of those deep tubs that’s perfect after walking around cobblestones all day. You know what I really appreciated? The kitchen setup. It’s not huge, but it’s functional, and there’s a little market on Via del Corso where you can grab fresh stuff if you want to eat in sometimes. The air conditioning works well too, which – trust me – matters more than you think in July.

Location-wise, this place is pretty genius. Everyone talks about being near the Trevi Fountain, but what they don’t mention is that you’re also walking distance to Via del Corso for shopping, and it’s an easy stroll to the Pantheon area. The Spanish Steps are maybe ten minutes on foot, and if you want to hit up that amazing gelato place (Giolitti) near the Pantheon, it’s a pleasant walk through some really beautiful side streets. Parking is a nightmare like everywhere in central Rome, but the hotel can arrange something if you’re driving – though honestly, you won’t need a car here. The closest metro is Barberini, which is walkable but not super convenient with luggage.

I will say, if you’re looking for a full-service hotel experience with a concierge desk and all that, this might not be your spot. It’s more like a really nice apartment rental with hotel-level cleaning and maintenance. The staff is helpful when you need them, but they’re not hovering around. Check-in was smooth, and they were flexible about letting us drop bags early. The building is old (this is Rome, after all), so you’ll hear some street noise during the day, but it dies down at night. The Wi-Fi is solid, the shower pressure is excellent, and there’s actually decent storage space, which is rarer than you’d think in Roman hotels. For the price point and that 8.9 rating, it really delivers on being a comfortable base for exploring without feeling like you’re staying in a tourist trap.

Perfectly organised space with comfy mattresses and pillows. Well equipped kitchen.

What could be improved: It’s a bit dark with no windows in the 2 upstairs bedrooms (maisonette type) and I think the toaster needs changing as I got shocked when touched the inside metal brackets.

  • Exceptional – Patrycja from Poland – 7 April 2025 (10/10)

A lovely apartment in a fantastic location with easy access to tourist sites. The hosts answer almost immediately for any questions or assistance you may need. Special thanks to Valentina and Alberto who were on top of everything, including arranging car service, recommending which places to visit, shop or eat or just how to get around the city. I really appreciated that!

  • Very comfortable apartment in central atmospheric setting with cool communal courtyard – Tanya from United Kingdom – 25 February 2025 (9/10)

The firm mattresses were very comfortable

What could be improved: As two of the bedrooms are interconnected to reach the bathroom there was less privacy but as we were all family it was fine
