Hotel Description
Nestled in the heart of one of Rome’s most captivating neighborhoods, Trastevere Colors is a charming 3-star boutique hotel that offers an authentic Roman experience with modern comforts. Located at Via Dei Marescotti 7 in the beloved Trastevere district, this exceptional accommodation boasts an impressive 9.1 rating from satisfied guests, making it one of the highest-rated hotels in its category. The stellar rating reflects the hotel’s commitment to personalized service, attention to detail, and its perfect balance of traditional Italian hospitality with contemporary amenities. Trastevere Colors serves as an ideal base for travelers seeking to immerse themselves in the genuine Roman lifestyle while enjoying easy access to the Eternal City’s most iconic attractions.
The hotel’s location in Trastevere is perhaps one of its most compelling features. This historic district is known for its narrow, cobblestone streets, centuries-old buildings adorned with ivy, and a vibrant atmosphere that comes alive particularly in the evenings. Just steps from the hotel, guests can wander through picturesque alleys to discover hidden piazzas, authentic trattorias serving traditional Roman cuisine, and charming cafés where locals gather. The area is home to the magnificent Basilica di Santa Maria in Trastevere, one of Rome’s oldest churches, featuring stunning 12th-century mosaics. The hotel’s strategic position also provides convenient access to other major attractions – a short walk across the Tiber River via the Ponte Sisto pedestrian bridge leads to Campo de’ Fiori and its famous market, while the Vatican, Spanish Steps, and Colosseum are all easily reachable by public transportation or a pleasant stroll through Rome’s enchanting streets. For those interested in Roman nightlife, Trastevere offers an eclectic mix of wine bars, craft beer pubs, and local establishments where you can experience the city’s contemporary culture alongside its ancient heritage.
What truly sets Trastevere Colors apart, as evidenced by its exceptional 9.1 rating, is its thoughtful blend of comfort, style, and authenticity. The hotel embraces its namesake with tastefully designed interiors featuring vibrant yet elegant color schemes that reflect the lively spirit of the Trastevere neighborhood. Each room has been carefully curated to provide guests with a tranquil retreat after days spent exploring Rome’s countless treasures. Despite its location in a historic district, the hotel offers modern amenities that today’s travelers expect, all while maintaining the charm and character of its surroundings. The attentive staff, many of whom are longtime residents of Rome, provide invaluable insights into local customs, hidden gems, and authentic dining experiences that typically elude visitors confined to more touristy areas. This insider knowledge, combined with the genuine warmth of Italian hospitality, creates the memorable stays that have earned Trastevere Colors its outstanding reputation among discerning travelers seeking an immersive Roman holiday experience that balances luxury, comfort, and cultural authenticity in one of the Eternal City’s most beloved neighborhoods.

Judit from Hungary (10/10)
The breakfast was OK, quite a variety of breakfast drinks, croissants, yoghurt, cereals, fruits etc. We had our tea-making facilities. The hosts were extremely nice, helpful and friendly. The quartier Trastevere is quite the best place to stay in Rome, being close to everything and at the same time far from the noisy crowd. Nice restaurants around.

Location was ideal. A laundry nearby. Hairdresser around the corner. Near bus and trams. Comfortable neighborhood.

Therese from Ireland (9/10)
We were delighted to have chosen Trastevere Colors for our stay in Rome. The location was great – all major sights were within walking distance and there was also a tram line nearby if we needed to go further afield. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast with other guests each morning. But, as others have mentioned, it is the kindness of the hosts that make this place very special. We recommend it highly!
