It’s one of those places that actually lives up to its ridiculously high rating – and honestly, a 9.6 seemed almost too good to be true when I first saw it. But walking into this three-bedroom apartment on Via Emanuele Filiberto, I immediately got why people rave about it. The space feels like someone’s actual home, not a sterile vacation rental, with thoughtful touches that make you wonder if the owners just stepped out for coffee.

The Manzoni district location is pretty brilliant if you ask me. You’re close enough to Termini that you can wheel your luggage there without breaking a sweat – I mean, it’s maybe a seven-minute walk – but you’re tucked away from all that central station chaos. The neighborhood has this lived-in Roman feel where you’ll find yourself grabbing morning cornetti from the corner bar like you’ve been doing it for years. Via Emanuele Filiberto itself is one of those streets that feels properly Roman without being touristy, and there’s something satisfying about walking past the same shopkeepers every day who start to nod at you by day three. The apartment itself is spacious in a way that’s rare for Rome – you can actually spread out, and the three bedrooms mean you’re not playing musical beds if you’re traveling with family or friends.

What really sets this place apart is the attention to detail that you only notice after staying in a lot of vacation rentals. The WiFi actually works (shocking, I know), the kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook – and honestly, with the Mercato Esquilino just a short walk away, you’d be crazy not to grab some fresh ingredients and make at least one meal. The whole place feels well-maintained without being fussy, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward. I’ve stayed in plenty of four-star places that felt more like three-star experiences, but this one delivers on its promises. Plus, you’re perfectly positioned to explore Rome properly – the Colosseum is walkable if you’re feeling energetic, and you’ve got great transport links when your feet give out.

  Location was brilliant. Right next to the metro which reaches pretty much everywhere you would want to visit I room. Supermarket on the doorstep along with a lovely Chinese and kebab shop for convenience after a day of walking.

  What could be improved: When we arrived, it hadn’t been properly cleaned in advanced and one of the toilets couldn’t be flushed but it was very quickly resolved by the host who sent someone to take care of it.

  Дім просто супер! Просторий та комфортний, є все необхідне і навіть більше. Господарі потурбувалися про чай та каву, засоби прання, два фени, що було дуже важливо для пʼятьох жінок! Чудове розташування, центральне та разом з тим доволі тихо і безпечно. Наше перебування пройшло ідеально. Приємним бонусом став рудий котик, що завітав допомогти заселятися) Дякуємо!
