Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about SuiteLifeTrevi? The location is almost ridiculously perfect – I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from the Trevi Fountain, but somehow you’ve escaped the tourist chaos that usually comes with being that close to Rome’s biggest crowd-magnet. Via delle Muratte is this narrow cobblestone street that feels authentically Roman, and honestly, most visitors probably walk right past the entrance without realizing there’s a gorgeous boutique hotel tucked away behind that understated facade.
The suites themselves are what really won me over though. Each one feels like someone’s elegant Roman apartment rather than a cookie-cutter hotel room – there’s actual character here, with original architectural details they’ve preserved beautifully alongside modern touches that actually work. The bathrooms are particularly impressive (Italian marble, obviously), and I appreciated that they’ve managed to fit everything you need without that cramped feeling you sometimes get in Rome’s historic buildings. The staff genuinely knows the neighborhood too, which makes a huge difference. When I asked about avoiding the fountain crowds, they didn’t just give me generic advice – they told me exactly when the tour groups typically arrive and suggested this little gelato spot on Via del Corso that locals actually use.
What really sets this place apart is how it balances being right in the thick of things without feeling touristy. You’re close enough to walk to the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, and all the major sites, but you’re also near actual Roman life – there’s a fantastic morning market just off Via del Tritone, and some genuinely good neighborhood restaurants that don’t have laminated menus in six languages. The 9.1 rating honestly makes sense when you experience it; it’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top luxurious, but everything works exactly as it should. The air conditioning is quiet (crucial for Rome summers), the Wi-Fi is reliable, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if you want to feel like you’re living in Rome rather than just visiting it.

Awesome room. Facilities were very up to date. Option to make coffee in the kitchen or cook. Private courtyard to use. The staff were so friendly, helping us find a laundromat and also the use of umbrellas. Helped with any tours we wanted. Trevi fountain 50M away, food literally at the front door

Simone was amazing – the hotel is in the greatest possible position around 20m from the Trevi fountain – the rooms are huge, bathrooms beautiful – this is now our go to when we travel to Rome. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Olivia from Greece (9/10)
Room, hallways and shared kitchen were clean with beautiful, modern decoration. We were welcomed with free soft drinks in our room and free access to the coffee machine in the kitchen, and appreciated the access to the indoor garden for a smoking break. We also felt extremely safe with all the safety measures taken to access the building and the room. Grazie mille!

Great location, clean and comfy rooms. Staff were friendly but as it’s a guest house, they’re not always there but during certain hours only

The location was amazing! Not only the great trevi fountain was right there, but it was surrounded by really good restaurants. The staff were super friendly and always willing to help.

The location was great. Good atmosphere just outside the building. Easy access. Also, no outside noise so sleep was not disturbed.
