Hotel Description
Look, I’ve walked past the Trevi Fountain probably a hundred times over the years, and I always wondered about those narrow streets that snake away from the chaos of tourists tossing coins. Via In Arcione is one of those little discoveries that makes you feel like you’ve cracked some kind of code – it’s literally a two-minute walk from all that madness, but somehow feels like a completely different Rome. The Suite Fontana di Trevi sits right on this quiet stretch, and honestly, when I first stepped inside, I was sort of shocked by how spacious everything felt. You know how Roman hotels can be… well, compact. But these suites actually give you room to spread out, with separate living areas that don’t feel like an afterthought. The design hits that sweet spot between elegant and comfortable – think rich fabrics and warm lighting without all the fussy gilt that makes you afraid to touch anything.
What really gets me about this place is how they’ve managed to capture that whole “living in Rome” vibe without sacrificing the things you actually need as a traveler. The kitchenettes are properly equipped (I mean, you can actually cook something beyond instant coffee), and the bathrooms have those rainfall showers that make you want to linger way longer than you should. But here’s the thing that sold me – step out the front door and you’re immediately in the real neighborhood flow. There’s this little alimentari right around the corner where the owner, Giuseppe, will slice your prosciutto paper-thin while telling you about his grandson’s football matches. The gelato place on Via del Lavatore? That’s where actual Romans go, not just the tourist hordes. And when you want to hit the big sights, everything’s right there – the Pantheon’s maybe a seven-minute walk, Spanish Steps are even closer, but you can actually escape back to your quiet street when you’ve had enough of the crowds.
The service here feels refreshingly… normal? Like, they’re helpful without being overly precious about it, and they actually know their neighborhood well enough to give you the kind of recommendations that matter. Want to know when the Trevi Fountain is least crowded? Early morning or late evening, obviously, but they’ll tell you exactly which approach avoids the worst bottlenecks. Need a pharmacy or a decent coffee that won’t cost you eight euros? They’ve got you covered. I mean, scoring a 9.2 rating doesn’t happen by accident – it’s all those little touches that add up. The building itself has some age to it (this is Rome, after all), so don’t expect brand-new everything, but there’s something charming about staying somewhere with actual character. Fair warning though – like most places in the centro storico, you’ll want to pack light since there’s no pulling your suitcase right up to the door, but honestly, that’s just part of the Roman experience.

Our host Daniel was amazing and so helpful in providing suggestions for transport and local restaurants. The room was very spacious and quiet. Perfect location 2 minutes walk to Trevi Fountain and 15 to all other landmarks. I would definitely recommend it.
Boryana from Bulgaria (10/10)
Our room ( apartment) was big, very comfortable and clean. We had a coffee machine and coffee pods for free during our stay, other supplies as well, they cleaned the room every day. The AC was working properly. The host was very kind and polite. The location is great, near to Metro and to many restaurants. Fontana di Trevi is very very close, 1 min walking. Despite the fact it is located in the center, it is not noisy in the room. Everything was great. We recommend the property.

Location was great; very central and just a minute's walk to the Trevi Fountain. The staff were very helpful and communicative. They were either available on-site (8-11am) or via WhatApp (they responded immediately each time). The bed was super comfortable and the windows must have been triple glazed, because they blocked out all the street noise.
Reanna from Australia (9/10)
Spacious apartment with bedroom, bathroom and lounge area which is serviced daily. Our friendly host met us on arrival and there are staff available on reception in the mornings to help with anything you need. The location was perfect – very close to the Trevi fountain, easy access to Metro/Bus/Taxi, but everything is easily walkable.

Excellent location in a bustling street near the Trevi Fountain. Very quiet with the windows shut and you won't think you're in the centre of Rome.
