Hotel Description
So I stumbled across Stay In Rome on Via Di Capo Le Case after wandering around the Spagna district for what felt like hours – you know how those Roman streets just twist and turn on you. But honestly, finding this place was worth every wrong turn. The building sits right in that sweet spot where you’re close enough to the Spanish Steps to walk there in your pajamas (theoretically), but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos at your front door every morning.
What actually surprised me was how quiet it gets once you’re inside. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of Rome, but the rooms have this calm, almost residential feel to them. The staff – and I’m not just saying this because they remembered my name after day one – they actually know the neighborhood. Like, really know it. The guy at the front desk told me about this tiny trattoria tucked behind Via del Corso that I never would’ve found otherwise, and it ended up being one of those perfect Roman dinners where you lose track of time. The hotel itself feels more like a refined apartment building than your typical tourist spot, which makes sense given the address. You’re essentially staying in what locals consider prime real estate, sandwiched between designer boutiques and centuries-old churches.
The rooms themselves are well… they’re not huge, but this is Rome, so you weren’t expecting a Vegas suite anyway. What they lack in space they make up for in thoughtful touches – good lighting (crucial for those early morning cappuccino runs), actual water pressure in the shower, and windows that open properly so you can hear the city waking up. I stayed there in late September, and the morning sounds drifting up from the street below were honestly better than any alarm clock. There’s something about the way Romans start their day – the coffee machine hissing, the quick conversations, the Vespas puttering past – that makes you feel like you’re really living in the city rather than just visiting it. The only minor thing I’d mention is that if you’re someone who needs complete darkness to sleep, bring an eye mask. Those street lights have a way of sneaking through the curtains, but honestly, that’s part of the charm of staying right in the thick of things. By the end of my stay, I was walking to Piazza di Spagna for my morning espresso like it was my local coffee shop, and that’s exactly the kind of Roman experience you’re paying for here.

The apartment was very nice and the location fantastic. We walked everywhere, with all the main attractions close by. The Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps are so close you end up walking past at all times of the day! Restaurants are all at the doorstep. Our hosts Cris and Alessandro were so helpful, before and during our stay. We will definitely come back to stay there and cannot think of a better location or apartment to stay in Rome. Thanks!

The apartment was located in a great location very close to Trevi fountain and the Spanish Steps. The unit had 2 bedrooms (one with 2 twin beds and the other with a large king size bed) with a living area, dining table, kitchen, bathroom and even a washing machine. Also, right next door is a supermarket with pretty much everything you need.

The staff were very responsive and helpful. The location was just amazing, right in the middle of great tourist sites and restaurants. Beds were quite comfy and firm.
