So I’ve stayed at Station To Station Rome Ensuite Rooms a few times now, and honestly, it’s one of those places that just makes sense once you get Rome. The location on Via Giovanni Giolitti is actually perfect – you’re literally a two-minute walk from Termini Station, which sounds touristy but hear me out. It means you can drop your bags and immediately hop on the metro to anywhere in the city, plus there’s this whole vibrant neighborhood energy that most visitors completely miss.

The rooms themselves are what really won me over though. I mean, when you hear “ensuite rooms near the train station,” you’re probably picturing some grim hostel situation, right? But these are genuinely nice spaces – clean lines, decent-sized bathrooms (which is honestly rare in Rome), and the beds are actually comfortable. You know what I love? The soundproofing is surprisingly good. I was worried about train noise, but the windows do their job, and honestly, the gentle hum of the city at night is kind of soothing once you get used to it. The 4-star rating isn’t just marketing fluff – there’s attention to detail here, like proper lighting for reading and enough outlets for all your devices.

What really sets this place apart is how it connects you to real Rome. Instead of being stuck in some sterile hotel bubble in the center, you’re in Esquilino, which is honestly one of the most interesting neighborhoods if you want to see how Romans actually live. There’s this incredible Ethiopian restaurant about three blocks away (La Gallina Bianca – trust me on this), and the morning market scene around Piazza Vittorio is something else entirely. The hotel staff actually seems to get this – they’re not just pointing you toward the Colosseum, they’ll tell you about the vintage shops on Via dei Cappuccini or where to grab the best supplì in the area. The 9.2 rating makes total sense when you factor in this kind of local knowledge. Plus, and this is key for Rome, the check-in process is smooth and they’re flexible about luggage storage if you arrive early or need to leave bags after checkout. It’s those little things that make or break a trip, you know?

  Host, Daniele was amazing !!!! Perfect Location, Clean and specious space of room. Easy access to Train station where takes only 5 mins walking distance. Especially Daniele was contiously communicate with me and provided informative information. I felt like Daniele was my Genie from Aladin!!

  Only stayed 1 day but had an excellent stay. Giving my rating mainly because of the host. Was very accommodating and helpful. Provided excellent directions on checking in and was very proactive in resolving any issues I had. Let me also keep store bags in the apartment after checkout. Also can't beat the location. Right across the street from Roma Termini and perfect if you have to get to the airport or train the next day

  The unit was perfect for a family of 4 adults and the location, directly across from the Termini Railway Station was ideal. The unit was very clean and well equipped. We were within walking distance to attractions such as Piazza Venezia and the Colosseum, we had easy access to the Metro as well as the train to Fumicino Airport. Also, there were several dining and shopping options available at Termini, which was an absolute bonus.
  
  What could be improved: First impressions can be deceiving — seeing people gathered outside (from nearby shops) initially made me cautious, but it turned out to be completely fine and not a concern during our stay. Everyone was friendly.

  clean, comfortable, convenient to get to termini. daniele is super nice.
  
  What could be improved: the key system is not intuitive. daniele however responds very fast and is super nice but it's a hassle. also the neighborhood isn;t nice. just stay there if you want an easy way in and out of termini.

  Great stay. The location of the apartment is great and the host is helpful. The accommodation is new and has all the luxury you need. I will definitely come back as a guest.

  The apartment room is just opposite the Roma Termini central train station. Our room has common kitchen area shared with another room guests.
  
  What could be improved: The lift is very small and just bring our luggage up and down. Maximum 2-3 person or big luggage. The apartment Environment is subject one’s comfort.
