Reviews

  • Jeremie from Canada (10/10)

Excellent location, mid way between Trevi fountain and Coloseum. Read a lot of concerns about stairs… We found it pretty easy and quick to climb. The stairs to the rooftop terrace are a little steeper 🙂
Efficient air con (in August, under the roof, you will need it). Minimalist kitchen but with all the great trattorias around, why bother? Bed and sofa super comfy. Our new go to when visiting Roma.

  • Shun-heng from Hong Kong (8/10)

Excellent location with multiple shops and restaurants around. 5-min walk to the Colosseum. Place was clean and well set up.

  • Chris from United Kingdom (9/10)

    Location great. Roof terrace wonderful

Fantastic Stay with a Stunning Rooftop Terrace!

We had a wonderful stay at Rooftop Colosseum with our family. The rooms were beautifully decorated, cozy, and very comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. The highlight of our stay was definitely the rooftop terrace! It was perfect spot to unwind in the evenings.

The location is excellent, with many attractions within walking distance, making it easy to explore Rome. The staff were also incredibly helpful and friendly. Overall, our experience was exceptional, and we would highly recommend it!

  • Nicole from Australia (8/10)

    Location was excellent.
Had all we needed for our 3 night stay.
    Nice rooftops terrace.

  • Denis from Singapore (9/10)

Central location, nice and clean apartment, cozy, designer style light, easy check-in, didn't experience any issue during 5 night stand, feel it like local life there

  • Myra from United Kingdom (9/10)

Perfect location from which to explore Rome. The Colosseum is visible from the piazza below the balcony and the Cavour Metro is a few hundred yards away. A few minutes walk to the ancient Forum and the Palatine Hill entrances.
In spite of being under the roof, the apartment is light and airy and the private roof terrace (up a steepish set of steps) is the perfect place to eat and watch the world go by.
A really great private retreat after a day’s sightseeing.
    Simon is a responsive host.

  • Adam from Ireland (9/10)

    great location

  • Tommy from Zimbabwe (10/10)

Simon instructions were very clear about arrival and departure. The location could not have been beaten. Lots of restaurants all within walking distance. And it’s almost half way between the coliseum and trevi fountain.

  • Robert from Sweden (10/10)

We have stayed in different flats in Rome for a number of years, both in summer and winter, and our favourite street is Via Baccina in the Suburra. Close to everything while "hidden away" and calm. This is our favourite flat there so far. With a spectacular (!) view over Piazza della Madonna dei Monti from the rooftop balcony/terrace it is hard to beat the Suburra experience! The flat is cozy (yes!) rather than practical but large enough and very clean. You could easily have dinner inside the flat but with the terrace available, why would you? The host, whom we didn't meet, was very helpful and nice! We will definitely try to book this flat again next time we're in Rome! Highly recommended (with the provisos specified below)!!
