Hotel Description
Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of Roman hotels, and Residenza Sacconi honestly surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked away on this quiet residential street in Parioli – you know, that area where actual Romans with money live, not just tourists trudging between the Colosseum and Vatican. The building itself has this understated elegance that feels authentically Italian, not like someone’s idea of what Italy should look like.
What really got me was how the staff actually seemed to care about the details. I mean, check-in was smooth (they speak proper English, thank god), but more than that, they knew the neighborhood. When I asked about getting to Villa Borghese, the guy at the desk didn’t just point me toward the main entrance – he told me about the side gate that’s literally a five-minute walk away, where you can slip into the park without dealing with the crowds near the Galleria. That kind of local knowledge makes a difference. The rooms are well-appointed without being flashy – good linens, proper shower pressure, and here’s something I always notice: the air conditioning actually works quietly. You’d be amazed how many Roman hotels sound like jet engines when you’re trying to sleep in July.
The Parioli location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Rome rather than just visiting it. There’s this little market on Via Archimede where locals shop for groceries, and you’ll find yourself walking past the same café owners who start recognizing you after a couple of days. Villa Borghese is right there when you need green space (or want to escape the summer heat), and getting into central Rome is straightforward – the Flaminio metro stop is walkable, though honestly, I found myself taking buses more often because the routes from this area are pretty convenient. The neighborhood gets quiet at night, which some people might find boring, but after days of Roman chaos, I actually appreciated being able to sleep without sirens and scooters racing around outside. The 8.6 rating makes sense to me – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Rome, but it does what it does really well, and the location gives you that insider’s perspective on the city that you just can’t get when you’re staying near Termini Station with everyone else.

Nice, clean appartement. Well renowated, tea, coffee and comfortable bed. Not close to center, but quite. Thank you!
Superb – John from France – 27 February 2025 (9/10)
The apartment was exactly what we expected. It was clean, modern and well maintained with the added bonus of a daily maid service. The team contacted us prior to our stay just to ensure if there were any problems we knew how to get hold of them (there were no problems BTW) and they even arranged a car back to the airport for us after the stay. A+
Short break to Rome for rugby – Linda from United Kingdom – 17 February 2025 (9/10)
Comfortable room with shared kitchen. Spacious.
Good location – easy tram ride into centre with restaurants and supermarket close by.Modern, clean and good price for money – Andreas-robert from Romania – 3 December 2024 (10/10)
The room was modern and very clean – they cleaned up the room during our 4 days stay. The bathroom was spacious, we received clean towel throughout the stay. The location is good for the price and the neighborhood was ok (close to bus stations)
What could be improved: The main door does not isolate the sounds from the other rooms or the hallway but for us it wasn't a problem. The location is a little bit far if you plan to only transport by foot.Exceptional – Alise from Latvia – 22 November 2024 (10/10)
Excellent concept.
Apartmet was cery nice, spacious room I like that property has a small kitchen and located close to the bus stop. It als – Anna from Portugal – 1 August 2024 (10/10)
I like that property has a small kitchen and located close to the bus stop
Comfortable and clean – Julie from United Kingdom – 13 July 2024 (8/10)
The room was modern and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.
It was a short 5 minute walk to the auditorium where we was attending a concert.
What could be improved: We couldn’t check in until 3pm and could only leave our luggage on unattended in a communal kitchen area. We was uncomfortable with this so waited at a restaurant nearby with our luggage until check in timeSuperb – Ivona from Croatia – 2 June 2024 (9/10)
The apartment is new, very clean and comfortable.
What could be improved: Finding the apartment was a bit challenging. The instructions should be a bit clearer, maybe with pictures or videos how to get to the apartment. It was confusing for us young, I can’t even imagine someone older using instructions. It was even more confusing because there’s a residence with the same name like this one across the street. Was very nice other than the entrance issue – Jeff from Canada – 11 May 2024 (8/10)
Nice room comfortable and clean modern as well
What could be improved: To enter was a bit of an issue as keys didnt work on outside gates or apt. entrance door, so i didnt see the need for keys at all eventually we got it figured out after a few calls to the helpful staff👍🏻Superb – Barnes from United States – 20 April 2024 (9/10)
The location was only 1 block from the friend we were visiting
What could be improved: The instructions on how to get in were a little confusing at first.
