Walking up to Residenza Pierret on Piazza di Spagna feels almost surreal — I mean, you’re literally steps away from the Spanish Steps, and the location is so central it’s almost ridiculous. This four-star boutique property sits right in the heart of Rome, and honestly, I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels that claim to be “centrally located,” but this one actually delivers on that promise. The building itself has that classic Roman elegance without being overly flashy, which I appreciated.

The Location Magic

You know what’s brilliant about staying here? You can roll out of bed and be at the Trevi Fountain in about five minutes, or wander over to Via del Corso for some serious shopping. The Spanish Steps are practically your front yard — and trust me, being able to experience them early in the morning before the crowds arrive is something special. I noticed couples everywhere during my stay, which makes sense given that the location scored a 9.9 for romantic trips. The neighborhood has this perfect mix of tourist attractions and authentic Roman life, with little cafés tucked into side streets where locals actually go.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was thoughtfully designed — not huge by American standards, but perfectly proportioned for Rome. What struck me was the attention to detail in the furnishings and the way they managed to blend modern comfort with classic Italian style. The windows offered glimpses of the bustling piazza life below, though honestly, the soundproofing was good enough that I could sleep peacefully despite being in such a lively area. The bathroom was well-appointed, and I particularly liked the quality of the linens and towels.

Breakfast and Dining

Breakfast here is actually quite impressive — they offer continental, Italian, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, which covers pretty much everyone’s needs. I’m usually skeptical when hotels try to do everything, but they managed to execute each option well. The Italian breakfast components were particularly good (as you’d hope), and I loved being able to start my day with proper espresso and fresh pastries. There’s no full restaurant on-site, but honestly, with Rome’s incredible dining scene literally at your doorstep, you don’t really need one.

  This Residenza is perfect to stay in for mini break, Your are in walking distance of all shops & Metro . It is about 40/ 50 minute walk to Vatician & St. Peters Square
  All the staff were so helpful from the moment we met them . Breakfast is served in your room, which you can pre-order the night beforehand just choose your time & what you would like & it arrives fresh to your room.next morning.
  Spotlessly clean & even tho we did not ask for our room to be cleaned each day the staff came in to make bed & clean around.
