Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about Residenza Ki? The location is honestly ridiculous – and I mean that in the best possible way. You’re literally a three-minute walk from the Trevi Fountain, but here’s the thing nobody tells you: Via Rasella is this narrow side street that somehow stays relatively quiet despite being in the absolute heart of everything. I mean, you can hear the distant hum of tourist crowds during the day, but it’s not like you’re sleeping above a pizza parlor blasting music until 2 AM.
The place itself feels more like a well-maintained apartment building than a traditional hotel, which honestly works in its favor. It’s got that lived-in Roman elegance – you know, the kind where the marble floors have actual character and the ceilings are properly high without feeling cavernous. The rooms are compact but thoughtfully laid out, and I actually appreciated that they didn’t try to cram unnecessary furniture into every corner. The bathrooms are surprisingly decent for a 3-star place in this part of Rome, though the water pressure can be a bit temperamental (classic Roman plumbing, really). What I loved was the attention to details that matter – good reading lights, enough outlets for your devices, and windows that actually open properly for those cooler evenings when you want fresh air instead of AC.
Here’s what really sold me on this place: the staff genuinely knows the neighborhood. When I asked about breakfast spots, they didn’t just point me toward the touristy places near the fountain – they mentioned this little bar on Via del Tritone where locals actually grab their morning cornetto and coffee. And parking? Well, forget about it unless you enjoy paying €30+ per day, but honestly, you’re better off using the metro anyway. Barberini station is maybe a seven-minute walk, and from there you can get anywhere in Rome without dealing with the nightmare that is driving in this city. The area gets absolutely packed during peak tourist season (basically March through October), but early mornings and late evenings have this almost magical quality when you can actually hear your footsteps echoing off the ancient stones. I’d say it’s perfect for people who want to be in the thick of things but still have a quiet retreat to come back to – just don’t expect luxury amenities or a fancy lobby to impress your Instagram followers.

Great stay – Celine from Italy – 22 April 2025 (9/10)
The room was very well located in the center of Rome, just a short walking distance from the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and many shops. The location made it easy to explore the city on foot. While we did walk a lot, the distances were reasonable compared to other areas in Rome. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean, spacious, and remained private during our visit. The price was also very reasonable, especially given that we booked on short notice. Overall, it was a great stay and we would recommend this place.
What could be improved: There is no elevator and its on the second floor you should take that into consideration, especially because of the luggageWorth every penny. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Grazie! – Jason from Canada – 20 April 2025 (9/10)
Location was excellent, staff was helpful, value was solid.
What could be improved: The shower is a tight fit for anyone who’s not fashion model thin, but that’s a very minor inconvenience for an otherwise solid place to stay.Pleasant – Laura from Netherlands – 13 April 2025 (6/10)

The room was spacious and a lot better than we expected from the pictures on Booking.com. They tidied the room daily and changed any dirty towels.
Amazing location.
