Radisson Collection Hotel, Roma Antica Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Radisson Collection Hotel, Roma Antica, you immediately understand why this five-star property commands such respect in Rome. The lobby strikes that perfect balance between contemporary luxury and classical Roman elegance — honestly, it’s refreshing to find a hotel that doesn’t try too hard to be either completely modern or overly traditional. You’re literally steps away from the Pantheon here, which means you’ll be hearing the gentle hum of tourists and street musicians from your window, but in the best possible way.
The Heart of Ancient Rome
The location is absolutely unbeatable — I mean, you’re on Via delle Botteghe Oscure, which puts you within a five-minute walk of the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and the Campo de’ Fiori. What I love about this spot is that while you’re in the thick of everything historically significant, you’re actually on a quieter street that locals use as a shortcut. You’ll see Romans grabbing their morning coffee at the bar next door, which gives you that authentic neighborhood feel despite being in the tourist center. The couples who stay here absolutely rave about the location — and honestly, I get it.
Luxury Accommodations
Each room feels like a sophisticated urban retreat, with floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light. The design is what I’d call “refined contemporary” — think rich fabrics, marble accents, and those little luxury touches that make you feel pampered without being ostentatious. The bathrooms are particularly impressive, with rainfall showers and premium amenities that actually smell amazing (you know how some hotel toiletries can be hit or miss). What really struck me was the attention to soundproofing — despite being in such a central location, the rooms maintain a peaceful atmosphere.
Dining and Amenities
The breakfast spread here is something special — they’ve got the Italian classics covered, obviously, but they also cater to different dietary needs with vegetarian and gluten-free options that don’t feel like afterthoughts. The buffet setup is elegant rather than overwhelming, and if you’re in a rush to catch an early tour, they’ll prepare breakfast to go. The hotel’s restaurant serves refined Italian cuisine with a modern twist, though honestly, with so many incredible dining options within walking distance, you might find yourself eating out most nights. There’s also a well-equipped fitness center and a spa that offers a peaceful escape after long days of sightseeing.
Why Guests Love It
What sets this place apart is how it manages to feel both luxurious and livable. You’re not just staying in a beautiful hotel — you’re positioned perfectly to experience Rome like someone who actually knows the city. The staff genuinely seems to enjoy helping guests discover hidden gems in the neighborhood, and they’re incredibly knowledgeable about everything from restaurant reservations to skip-the-line museum tickets. The combination of impeccable service, stunning design, and that unbeatable location creates an experience that feels both indulgent and authentic. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself lingering in the lobby with a glass of wine, planning tomorrow’s adventures while watching the world go by outside.
The concierge service in Rome arranges private Vatican viewings, chauffeured Vespa tours, and chef’s table carbonara lessons.

The hotel's location, the staff's attitude, and their helpfulness were all excellent. Everything was even better than we imagined. The cleanliness of the rooms, the prompt fulfillment of our requests, the recommendations for places to visit in Rome, and they even organized a free tour on the day we visited—but we couldn't join because we had already made other plans. Overall, it was an experience that surpassed our expectations.

We loved the stay at Roma Antica – it’s an exclusive hotel in an excellent location, beautiful interior design and everything we needed for our 3 nights in Rome. The breakfast is fresh and tasty, they also have a rooftop terrace with fantastic views. They even prepared a turkish steam bath for my husband.
