Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about QT Suites Roma? The doorman actually remembered my name after one day – and I mean, this isn’t some massive chain where you’re just another keycard. It’s tucked right on Via Sistina, which honestly took me a minute to find the first time because it’s not screaming “HOTEL” at you like some places do. But that’s kind of the point, I think.
The location is ridiculously good, though you probably already guessed that from the address. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from the Spanish Steps – and I timed it because I’m weird like that. What the booking sites don’t tell you is that you’re also right around the corner from this tiny wine bar called Il Sorpasso that locals actually go to (not just tourists), and there’s a pharmacy next door which, trust me, you’ll appreciate when you inevitably need something random. The street itself gets a bit busy during the day – it’s Rome, after all – but honestly, the rooms are well-insulated enough that I never had trouble sleeping, even with the windows cracked open.
The suites themselves are… well, they’re proper suites, not just a room with a mini-fridge calling itself a suite. Mine had this separate sitting area with a couch I actually used (revolutionary concept, right?), and the bathroom was one of those where you want to take a photo but feel silly doing it. Everything feels deliberately chosen rather than just ordered from a hotel supply catalog – the coffee machine is one of those Nespresso ones that doesn’t make you want to immediately find a café, and the shower pressure is honestly better than my apartment back home. I did notice the air conditioning takes a minute to really kick in, but once it does, you’re golden.
What really gets me is how the staff seems to know the neighborhood like they live there – because some of them actually do. The front desk guy, Marco, sent me to this gelato place on Via del Corso that I never would have found otherwise, and when I mentioned I was looking for a good carbonara, he didn’t just give me the tourist answer. He actually debated with himself out loud about two different places before settling on his recommendation. That kind of thing makes a difference, you know?
The whole place just feels like someone took a lot of care with it. It’s not trying to be the fanciest hotel in Rome – there are plenty of those if that’s what you’re after – but it’s doing exactly what it set out to do really, really well. You’re paying for the location and the attention to detail, sure, but you’re also getting this sense that you’re staying somewhere that gives a damn about whether you have a good time in their city. And honestly, in a place like Rome where you could easily get lost in the shuffle of mass tourism, that matters more than you might think.

The room I stayed in was exceptionally spacious and comfortable. The building's location is also excellent. The receptionist Larisa was incredibly attentive, providing us with excellent restaurant recommendations nearby and welcoming us with thoughtful treats in the room. Although the building lacks a doorman outside of business hours, which can make check-in a bit challenging, our communication with Larisa by phone was very efficient, and we encountered no issues. Highly recommended!
Suzi from United Kingdom (9/10)

QT Suites Roma were amazing. The location was literally a few hundred metres from the Spanish Steps and within a half walk of many major historical sites. The security of the building was great. We could hear no noise within or from outside. The apartment was lovely appointed and so clean. The staff were friendly. We would come again!
