Look, I’ll be straight with you about the Piazza Vittorio Exclusive Apartment – the name’s a bit fancy for what’s essentially a really solid apartment rental, but honestly? That’s part of what I loved about it. You’re not getting some sterile hotel experience here. This place sits right on Via Carlo Alberto, which puts you in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to Termini Station that you can actually walk there with luggage (I mean, if you’re not overpacked like I always am), but far enough away that you’re not dealing with all that tourist chaos.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home, which I guess makes sense since that’s basically what it is. The building’s got that classic Roman thing going – you know, the kind where you wonder if the elevator’s going to make it to your floor, but somehow it always does. What really got me was stepping out in the morning and realizing I was practically living like a local. There’s this little café right around the corner where the barista started recognizing me by day three, and honestly, that’s worth more than any fancy hotel lobby. The Piazza Vittorio market is literally a five-minute walk – and I’m talking about the real deal here, not some tourist trap. Fresh produce, actual Romans doing their shopping, the whole thing. Plus, you’re walking distance to San Lorenzo if you want to eat where the university crowd goes, or you can hop on the metro at Vittorio Emanuele and be at the Colosseum in like ten minutes.

What surprised me most was how quiet it gets at night, considering you’re so central. I mean, sure, you’ll hear the occasional scooter (this is Rome, after all), but it’s not like staying near the Spanish Steps where there’s constant noise. The apartment itself is well-equipped – actually well-equipped, not just “has a coffee maker” well-equipped. I ended up cooking a few meals because, well, the kitchen actually works and there’s a proper grocery store nearby. The Wi-Fi’s solid, which matters if you’re trying to work remotely, and the shower has decent water pressure, which… look, if you’ve stayed in enough European apartments, you know that’s not guaranteed. My only real complaint? The building doesn’t have AC in the hallways, so summer arrivals can be a bit sweaty, but once you’re in the apartment, you’re fine. The whole experience just feels more authentic than your typical hotel stay – you’re in a real neighborhood, dealing with real Roman life, but with all the comfort and reliability you actually need.

  It was beautiful! Very comfortable beds too. Wry close to amazing affordable top notch Italian restaurants.
  
  What could be improved: The area was a little sketchy, lots of trash and drug addicts and the rail station out front was shut down, that was a main reason for getting it.

  Sergio was excellent. Very accommodating and friendly. The lift to the second floor was very handy, and the recycle bins on the ground floor were easily accessible.
  The TV in the lounge was nice, and the rooms large with high ceilings. Kitchen has a table in, along with large fridge freezer and dishwasher. All windows have tight shutters to keep daylight out and there is a balcony out from the lounge.
  Lovely pasta restaurant to the left as you exit, and a great pizza bar, right and right again.
  The tube/metro station Vittorio Emanuele is right outside and is one stop away from Termini which has direct trains to the airport. Vittorio Emanuele is also two stops from the hospital.
  Multiple pharmacies within two minute walk as well as a small convivence store.
  
  What could be improved: Could do with a few more mugs and glasses for drinks.
  The shower head in the far bathroom needs attention.
  Thankfully there was a medical kit, which we needed, but unfortunately it only had one bandage in, which we used. Hopefully this has been restocked, I did mention it to Sergio.
  There are no useful plugs in the bedrooms for phone chargers, so make sure you charge up before going to bed.

  What could be improved: Die Duschen: bei der einten Dusche war die Brause defekt und wenn in beiden Bäder geduscht wurde, war der Wasserdruck zu wenig….

  Appartamento accogliente, spazioso e ben tenuto. A 10 minuti a piedi da stazione Termini. Ottimo per gruppi, in 9 persone siamo stati benissimo. Torneremo di sicuro, consigliatissimo.

  Härlig stor lägenhet med underbara tak. Nära till tunnelbanan och gångavstånd till det mesta.
  
  What could be improved: För lite porslin speciellt muggar i köket till en sådan stor lägenhet där man hyr många personer.

  La décoration raffinée très "romantisme italien". Le confort des lits . L'emplacement, le métro à la porte… la proximité de la gare centraleTermini.
  
  What could be improved: Le bruit ( horrible et detangeant) des 2 chasses d'eau.
  
  Le manque de cafetière (dans un appartement où il y a 5 chambres, il y a seulement une minuscule cafetière à l'italienne pour 1 ou 2 tasses – Nous avons dû acheter du Nescafé !)
  
  La propreté des sols laissant à désirer (pas très agréable quand on doit faire qqs exercices matinaux sur des tapis très poussiéreux…)
  
  Et puis, pour ce tarif, il serait "élégant" de mettre 1 bouteille d'eau dans le frigo…
