But it’s more about being in the heart of centro storico without feeling like you’re trapped in a tourist bubble. There’s a fantastic little enoteca on Via dei Cappuccini that the locals actually go to, and you’ll find yourself taking these beautiful winding streets back to the hotel each night, past tiny churches and hidden courtyards that most visitors never see. The neighborhood has this lived-in quality – you’ll see Romans walking their dogs in the piazza, kids playing near the fountains after school. It’s Rome as it actually is, not just the postcard version. And honestly, for a 4-star place with a 9.2 rating, the value is pretty solid. You’re paying for the location and the experience, sure, but you’re not getting gouged the way you might at some of the bigger luxury hotels near the Spanish Steps.

  The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, we were greeted with a beautiful smile every morning at breakfast, and were offered fresh coffee and eggs to order. She made hot chocolate for the kids which they looked forward to every day!Breakfast was actually a relaxing experience, as they play soft music and the chairs are comfortable. There are plenty of options, including pastries, pancakes, and healthier options too like yoghurt, nuts and fruit. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The location was absolutely perfect. We were equal distances from the Vatican and the Coliseum, bustling Trastevere was just a ten minute walk! Lots of choices nearby when it came to restaurants. To sum up, I'd absolutely recommend this place to a friend. And we'll be back someday.
