You know what caught me off guard about this place? It’s literally tucked away on Via del Seminario – I mean, you’re walking distance from the Pantheon, but somehow it feels like you’ve discovered this quiet corner that most tourists completely miss. The building itself has that worn Roman charm where you can tell it’s been housing travelers for decades, but in the best possible way.

The apartment – and it really does feel like staying in someone’s actual Roman home – has this perfect balance of being comfortable without trying too hard to impress. The rooms are bigger than you’d expect for central Rome (honestly, I was prepared for typical European “cozy” which usually means cramped), and there’s something about the way the morning light filters through the windows that makes you want to linger over coffee instead of rushing out to sightsee. The 4-star rating makes sense here because it’s not trying to be luxurious, just genuinely well-maintained and thoughtful. Little things like actually having enough electrical outlets and decent water pressure – stuff that sounds boring but matters when you’re living somewhere for a few days.

What I really appreciated was how the location works in practice, not just on paper. Sure, everyone talks about being near the Pantheon, but what they don’t mention is that you’re also a quick walk to some of the better local spots on Via del Corso, and – this is key – you can actually get back to the apartment easily after dinner without navigating tourist crowds. The neighborhood has this nice rhythm where it’s busy during the day but settles down in the evenings, so you’re not dealing with constant street noise. The 8.7 rating feels right to me because it delivers on the important stuff without any major surprises, good or bad. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning to spend real time in Rome rather than just checking boxes on a itinerary. It’s the kind of place where you can actually settle in and feel like you’re living in the city for a while, not just passing through.

  The location is right next to the Pantheon, just a few steps to the front gate. There are many good restaurants around. The host is very enthusiastic. From here, you can visit several nearby attractions such as the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum.
  
  What could be improved: The door key is a bit difficult to use, and the elevator is old and small, so I carried my suitcase up the stairs for convenience.

  The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is incredible, literally next to the Pantheon and easy walking distance to every major landmark. The apartment is very spacious and well furnished, kitchen has everything you need, there’s a washing machine for laundry, comfortable showers. Really a great place to spend some time sightseeing in Rome.
  
  What could be improved: The only improvement could be to provide a bit more of things like towels, laundry and dish soap, and paper towels. Not a big deal but would be a nice touch.

  Prime location. You only have to get out of the building to have a view of the Pantheon. We could also walk to the Colosseum. The host provided lots of useful and thoughtful information (e.g., grocery & restaurants, how to travel/move around the old city, even a list of doctors who speak English.). The apartment was spacious (enough space for our family of four) and nicely decorated. Clean bathrooms. Clean towels. We will consider this apartment again if we visit Rome again.
  
  What could be improved: (1) Weak Wifi (it worked in the living room, but in the bedroom it was very weak. Maybe a booster will help.). (2) The floor of the living room could have been bit cleaner. We cared as we have two toddler kids who tend to sit and play on the floor.

  Loved the apartment! Apartment was spacious. Loved that it had an extra bathroom which was not in the pictures. I only wished the beds were a bit more comfortable, but I think it’s a European thing. We went to Spain and mattress were hard as a rock. The location was GREAT! Definitely returning!
