The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d want after a long day of sightseeing — clean lines, comfortable furnishings, and those beds everyone raves about. You know what? The hype about the beds is actually justified. I’m usually pretty picky about mattresses, but I slept like a rock here. The rooms aren’t massive (this is central Rome, after all), but they’re thoughtfully designed with enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. Each space maximizes functionality while maintaining an elegant aesthetic.

Morning Fuel

Breakfast here hits all the right notes — they’ve got the continental basics covered, but the Italian touches really make it special. Fresh cornetti, good coffee (which matters more than you might think in a city where locals take their espresso seriously), and a buffet setup that doesn’t feel rushed or chaotic. I actually found myself lingering over breakfast longer than usual, partly because the space is pleasant and partly because you know you’re about to step into the beautiful madness of Rome’s historic center. The morning ritual here becomes part of the overall experience.

  We loved the exceptional care extended to us from Lara and the team at Navona Rooms. We were able to have access to our room 3 hours early due to our early arrival from New Zealand. We missed 2 of the 3 breakfasts because we booked early tours but each time Lara offered us coffee, snacks and sandwiches to take with us instead. Each day our room was perfectly serviced. The location is also amazing, 10 out of 10 from us!
