Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about the Navona Jacuzzi Apartment? It’s actually tucked away on Via del Governo Vecchio, which — if you’ve wandered Rome’s historic center — you’ll recognize as one of those narrow medieval streets that feels like a secret passage between the chaos of tourist Rome and something more authentic. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from the Pantheon’s crowds, but step inside this place and it’s like you’ve found your own little sanctuary.

The apartment itself is honestly better than most four-star hotels I’ve stayed in (and that 9.6 rating isn’t just for show). The jacuzzi is the obvious star here — and I’ll admit I was skeptical at first because, well, apartment jacuzzis can be hit or miss. But this one’s actually substantial, well-maintained, and after a day of trudging over cobblestones from the Trevi Fountain to Campo de’ Fiori, it’s exactly what your feet are begging for. The space feels genuinely Roman too, with those thick walls that keep things cool even in August, and windows that open onto the kind of street scene where you’ll hear actual conversations in Italian rather than tour groups. The kitchen’s properly equipped if you want to grab fresh ingredients from the morning market at Campo de’ Fiori — though honestly, with restaurants like Da Baffetto just around the corner, you might not cook much.

Here’s the thing about this location that locals know but guidebooks don’t always mention: Via del Governo Vecchio is where Romans actually go for vintage shopping and aperitivo, so you’re not just staying near the sights, you’re staying where the city actually lives. Plus, parking is nearly impossible around here (fair warning), but you won’t need a car anyway since everything’s walkable, and the nearest Metro stop at Spagna is about a fifteen-minute stroll through some of Rome’s most photogenic streets. The building itself is quiet — I was worried about noise with all the street activity, but those old Roman walls are thick enough that you’ll sleep well. Check-in was smooth, no drama, and the host actually knew the neighborhood well enough to recommend a wine bar I never would have found otherwise. It’s pricier than staying out in Trastevere or near Termini, sure, but when you’re this close to the Pantheon and Piazza Navona without feeling like you’re camping in Times Square, it’s worth every euro.

  • Great apartment in an excellent location to visit Rome – Bogdan from Romania – 1 April 2025 (10/10)

Excellent location to visit Rome, next to Piazza Navona, within walking distance of all does in the centre. The building itself is beautiful, an old building that gives you a great vibe, while it is will renovated and very nice to live in. The apartment is large and very comfortable, very clean and with all necessary facilities. We would absolutely return

  • Great location at an affordable price. – Richard from United States – 13 June 2025 (9/10)

The property was in the old part of Rome, not far from the Pantheon and the Colosseum. There was plenty of hot water and the air conditioning worked great. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was easy to use. Easy to communicate with the hosts, who met us at the property. The apartment was near a supermarket, many restaurants and cafes, as well as an easy walk to the Tiber, the Vatican, and other tourist sites.

What could be improved: 10am checkout is a bit early for us.

Appartamento molto ampio con bellissima vasca idromassaggio, situato in un palazzo storico in pieno centro. Tutte le attrazioni principali sono raggiungibili a piedi. Lo stesso vale per negozi e ristoranti.
