Hotel Description

You know what caught me off guard about Luxury Suite Coronari? The entrance is so understated on Via della Vetrina that I actually walked past it twice – but honestly, that’s part of its charm. This isn’t one of those flashy places screaming “tourist hotel.” Instead, it sits quietly in this narrow cobblestone street where locals still hang their laundry from medieval windows, and you can hear the gentle hum of real Roman life happening around you.

The suites themselves are something else entirely. I mean, when they say luxury, they actually mean it – not in that stuffy, don’t-touch-anything way, but more like staying in a sophisticated Roman apartment that happens to have really good housekeeping. The bathrooms have this gorgeous marble (I’m pretty sure it’s Carrara, but don’t quote me on that), and the beds are ridiculously comfortable – the kind where you’ll genuinely oversleep even with jet lag. What really got me was the attention to details you don’t expect: proper blackout curtains that actually work, outlets in sensible places, and air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing. The staff seems to genuinely care about the place too, which you can tell immediately when someone takes pride in showing you around versus just handing you a key card.

But here’s the real magic – you’re literally a three-minute walk from Piazza Navona, which means you get all the energy of being in the heart of everything without the chaos right outside your window. I’d slip out early in the morning when the piazza was still quiet except for the street sweepers, grab a proper espresso at that little place on the corner (locals call it Bar della Pace, though the actual name is something else), and feel like I’d discovered some secret about Rome that the tour groups hadn’t figured out yet. The neighborhood is perfect for wandering – you’ll stumble onto tiny churches with Caravaggio paintings just hanging there, or find yourself in Campo de’ Fiori right when the morning market is getting started. And honestly, being able to duck back to your quiet suite when the afternoon heat hits or when you need a break from all the beautiful overwhelm of Rome? That’s worth everything. The 9.4 rating isn’t just impressive numbers – it’s what happens when a place actually delivers on what it promises without the usual travel disappointments.

  • Outstanding property, in a beautiful location topped by a superb host, 10/10. – Phoebe from United Kingdom – 11 February 2025 (10/10)

Beautifully presented property throughout, wonderful location within walking distance of many major attractions, whilst having the benefit of being tucked away from any excessive noise in the prettiest of cobbled streets.
The overall design of the apartment is strikingly simplistic with a sense of fluent elegance running throughout.
The area felt extremely safe and the property itself was incredibly secure, with the ease of a coded key pad for access rather than the need for keys out and about.
Outstanding host who went above and beyond to ensure our arrival ran smoothly, as well as providing extensive information about the local area and all that it has to offer.

I couldn’t recommended this property more, we are already planning our return trip to Rome and have no intention to book anywhere other than Luxury Suite Coronari!
