Luxury Domus Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Luxury Domus feels like discovering a well-kept secret in the heart of Rome. This four-star boutique property sits on Via Carlo Emanuele I, just steps from Termini Station, but honestly — you’d never guess you’re so close to the city’s main transport hub. The entrance has this understated elegance that immediately tells you the owners actually care about details, not just filling beds.
Location That Actually Works
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Colosseum, but you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos that comes with staying right next to it. The Central Station neighborhood gets a bad rap sometimes, but this particular stretch is actually quite charming. You’ve got authentic Roman trattorias within a block (I mean the kind where locals eat, not tourist traps), and the metro connections mean you can reach Vatican City or Trastevere without breaking a sweat. Couples seem to get this — they consistently rate the location nearly 9 out of 10, and I can see why.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was surprisingly spacious for Rome standards, with high ceilings that make everything feel more open than you’d expect. What really impressed me though? The bed situation is no joke here — they’ve clearly invested in quality mattresses and linens. After walking 20,000 steps around the city (which, let’s be honest, happens every day in Rome), sinking into that bed felt like a small miracle. The bathrooms are modern without being sterile, and there’s actually decent water pressure, which anyone who’s traveled in Italy knows isn’t always a given.
Morning Fuel
Breakfast here strikes that perfect balance between Italian tradition and international expectations. You’ll find proper Italian coffee — not the watered-down stuff some hotels serve tourists — alongside fresh cornetti and local pastries. But they also understand that not everyone wants a sugar rush first thing in the morning, so there are American-style options and a solid continental spread. The breakfast room overlooks a quiet courtyard, which creates this peaceful bubble before you dive into Rome’s beautiful chaos.
Why Guests Love It
What sets Domus apart is how it manages to feel both central and serene — a tricky balance in a city like Rome. The staff genuinely knows the neighborhood and can point you toward hidden gems (ask them about the gelato place around the corner that doesn’t even have a sign). With a 9.3 rating from actual guests, it’s clear this isn’t just marketing fluff — people leave here feeling like they discovered something special. You’re paying for location and comfort without the premium that comes with staying in the absolute center, and honestly, that’s exactly what smart travelers want.
Hotels in Rome line cobbled piazzas, ancient forums, and renaissance palazzi.

Reviews of Luxury Domus
Stylianos from Greece (10/10)
Everything was perfect. From Edoardo the son's host who has given us information, not only about the house, but on how to move about in Rome to the quaint little garden at the back of the apartment. The apartment itself was secure (opening and closing via security codes), extremely clean anf full of ammenities. Only 300 metres from the Metro Station (Manzano, Line B) which is 2 stops away from Termini which means close proximity to all places of interest at the centre of Rome. Highly recommended, we cannot wait for our next visit there!

Property is perfectly located, 200m to bus and metro station, easy connection to all major Rome's attractions. Shop is nearby in the case you like to cook for yourself. Garden with banana tree is astonishing! Ideal place to rest after a long walk through 2k+ years of history. Special thanks for the breakfast in Cafe Italia 🙂

Fantastic from A to Z. Excellent communication with detailed videos on how to check in. It felt like home with everything you can think of, was already there. Location was perfectly nestled in a quite area. Best part was Rob and Danas prompt communication and guidance. Property and furniture was in very good condition as-well. I'd love to stay here again without any hesitation.

The size of the apartment, having several rooms. It is close to the metro, a great starting place for visiting the city. The owner, Fabrizio, was very kind, flexible and gave us a lot of ideas what to see in the city
