Hotel Description
You know what? I’ve stayed in a lot of Rome apartments over the years, and Living RHome on Via Belsiana really surprised me in the best way. The location is honestly ridiculous – I mean, you’re basically tucked into this quiet side street just off Via del Corso, but you’re still close enough to the Spanish Steps that you can hear the evening chatter if you crack the windows. The building itself has that classic Roman charm (it’s on the second floor, and yes, there’s an elevator – thank god), and when you walk out the door, you’re maybe two minutes from all the designer shops on Via Condotti. But here’s the thing that actually matters: you can duck into the little side streets and find these amazing local spots that tourists walking the main drag completely miss.
The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home, not some sterile vacation rental. The kitchen is properly equipped – I’m talking real coffee maker, decent knives, enough counter space to actually cook if you want to. The living area has this comfortable, lived-in feeling, and honestly, after walking around Rome all day, that’s exactly what you need. The bedroom is quiet, which is huge because Via del Corso can get pretty noisy, but being on Belsiana means you’re shielded from most of that. I slept really well, even during peak summer when the city stays buzzing until late. The WiFi actually works (not always a given in Rome), and there’s good natural light throughout the day.
What really sold me on this place was the neighborhood vibe. You’ve got the touristy stuff right there when you want it – the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain is an easy walk, all that – but you’re also in the heart of where Romans actually live and work. There’s this fantastic little grocery store on Via Belsiana where the owner remembers your face after two visits, and the morning coffee ritual at the corner bar becomes part of your routine. The 8.3 rating makes sense because it’s not trying to be some luxury hotel experience – it’s just a really solid, comfortable place to stay that happens to be in one of Rome’s most central neighborhoods. I mean, when you can walk to the Pantheon in under ten minutes and still feel like you’re staying somewhere with character rather than just another cookie-cutter accommodation, that’s pretty much the sweet spot for Rome, isn’t it?

What could be improved: The access though the stairsGreat stay- amazing location (can't get any better) spacious and comfortable! Would recommend! – Craver from United States – 2 October 2023 (9/10)
The location doesn't get any better- a short walk to train and Spanish steps. It is on a the beautiful street with amazing cafe's, it was perfect for us! The apartment itself was nice, spacious and clean.
What could be improved: The only draw back to our stay here was the key exchange. We arrived promptly on time for check-in but was having trouble getting in touch with the host and the keys weren't there. Luckily, we ran into the previous tenant and was able to get the keys from them (maybe 10 minutes after check in time) so it was all good, but we had tired kids with us to that 5-10 minutes of not knowing how long it would take to get in were stressful. Maybe it was a miscommunication on the previous tenant and not the hosts fault at all, but I wish the host would have be available during that time. Otherwise, it was all good, hosts later responded and were very responsive during the say itself. (They also let us leave our bags at the apartment earlier than check in which was a HUGE help! )
