Hotel Description
Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of places in Rome over the years, and LHG Comfy Rooms on Corso d’Italia honestly surprised me. The name’s pretty straightforward – no fancy marketing nonsense – but that actually turned out to be refreshing. When you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that they’re not trying to be something they’re not, you know? Just solid, well-thought-out hospitality.
The location is what really makes this place work. Corso d’Italia might not sound familiar if you’re not a Rome regular, but it’s actually this perfect sweet spot – you’re close enough to Villa Borghese that you can walk there for morning runs (I mean, if you’re into that sort of thing), but you’re also ridiculously well-connected to the rest of the city. The Castro Pretorio metro stop is literally a five-minute walk, and honestly, that’s gold in Rome. I’ve stayed in places where getting to the metro felt like a pilgrimage. Plus, there’s this little stretch of restaurants and bars along the street that locals actually go to – not tourist traps, but real neighborhood spots where you’ll hear more Italian than English.
What struck me most about the rooms was the attention to details that actually matter. The beds are genuinely comfortable (not just hotel-brochure comfortable), and the soundproofing is better than you’d expect for a busy Roman street. You’ll still hear some traffic – it’s Rome, after all – but nothing that’ll keep you up at night. The bathrooms are properly modern without being sterile, and there’s decent water pressure, which… well, anyone who’s traveled in Italy knows that’s not always a given. The WiFi actually works throughout the building too, including in the lobby area where I’d sometimes sit with coffee in the mornings.
The staff deserves a mention because they strike that perfect balance between helpful and not hovering. Check-in was smooth, they knew the neighborhood well enough to give real recommendations (not just the obvious tourist spots), and when I had a minor issue with the air conditioning, someone was up to fix it within twenty minutes. No drama, no excuses.
Honestly, what I appreciated most was how the place felt authentically Roman without being gimmicky about it. You’re staying in a real neighborhood where people live and work, not some sanitized tourist bubble. There’s a pharmacy next door, a decent coffee bar across the street where locals grab their morning espresso, and you can walk to Villa Borghese when you need to escape the city buzz for a bit. For a 4-star place, the value is solid – you’re getting genuine comfort and a location that lets you experience Rome like someone who actually lives here, not just someone passing through with a guidebook.

Perfect for what we need it. Very clean, bed comfortable, tea/coffee and daily room cleaning available. 15-20 min walk to the Trevi fountain.
What could be improved: Hard to find the main entrance because of the construction outside. It could be noisy at night because of the road trafficLovely place – Stuart from United Kingdom – 27 May 2025 (8/10)
Good location, shame about the roadworks going on outside. Close to some lovely restaurants and a small supermarket.
What could be improved: Air conditioning failed twice which is a shame.it was very good – Atanas from Bulgaria – 26 May 2025 (9/10)
The room was very big and clean 🙂
What could be improved: The girls on the reception are very helpful and polite and spoke very good english, but the other staff did not know any English, which was pretty inconvenient.Very good – Sonia from United Kingdom – 14 May 2025 (8/10)
The breakfast was good and only round the corner. Nice to sit in the sunshine and indulge in croissants or a sandwich, coffee and fresh orange juice!
What could be improved: It's a personal thing but my partner didn't like the pillow at all. He is used to a thin feather one so the foam was big and even I found it very hot for sleeping….Clean, Safe, Big Room – Gamze from Turkey – 6 May 2025 (10/10)
The location of the hotel is very good, the surroundings are perfect. It is located in a quiet and decent neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again. The room is cleaned every day. It is very comfortable and big (even bigger than expected). The cleanliness is also 10/10.
Everything was so good, clean, “safe” and comfy. Thank you for everthing. If we come again, we won't stay anywhere else but here. See you 🌺✨

I had a wonderful stay at LHG COMFY ROOMS. The apartment itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. The host was fantastic — very welcoming, communicative, and made the entire check-in process easy and stress-free. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience, even offering helpful local tips. I couldn’t have asked for a better place or a better host. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
