Well equipped and modern furnished apartment, clean and perfectly situated location and easy to get to and from everywhere . There is a taxi rank just outside which made getting to everywhere we needed to go exceptionally easy. Good use of space in the apartment. Felt secure. Washing machine if you need one. Andre who met us when we arrived was very welcoming and helpful.

We stayed at Michele's apartment for 10 nights. He met us on the day of check in, after we landed at 1 pm and took a cab to his apartment. By then it was 3pm and he was waiting in front at the steps. He helped us elevator our luggage to the first floor (they do not consider the ground floor as first floor). I had my adult son (18M), husband (56M) and daughter (13F). So two beds would not have been enough. Michele's apartment had 1 queen bed, 1 Full sofa bed and 1 sofa that turns into a twin bed. The sofa beds were very comfortable, perhaps in part due to there are no springs, only strong and sturdy elastics that go across the steel frames. My son is used to feeling the hard springs on his back when we stay at other hotels in the US so this was an exceptional experience. The apartment had a bedroom, and a separate kitchen/dining/living area where the sofa bed was located. At night, my son could close off the doors leading from the bedroom into the living area, and he could have that private space as really another bedroom.
The host was very responsive. We needed to pay the city tax and he came back promptly. He communicated within minutes, there is no wait. He was very helpful with tips about the city and where the best pizza, pasta, where the closest grocery store was, and if we needed a taxi, he could call one for us. He handed us 2 sets of keys, gave my husband and I a quick orientation to door codes, how to work the washing machine and dishwasher, where the cleaning supplies are, where the laundry rack (for hanging clothes) was and how far certain attractions are.
The location was excellent, it was steps from a church, which my son found celebrated Mass every day, so he was going every 7:30 am or the 6:30 pm. It was a 20-minute walk to the entrance of the Vatican. Along the way, there are shops, grocery stores, lots of alleyway eating places, those types that are hole-in-the-wall where you'll find the most authentic Italian food.
