  If I could rate it higher, I would. The hotel itself has just a few rooms on the upper floor of a building just a few blocks from Vatican City. The cleanliness of the room, the amenities, and the location alone merit 10 out of 10, but the owner, our wonderful hostess Marina, took this to a whole other level. From the delightfully old-fashioned self-serve elevator to the many restaurants, grocers, and shops literally on the same block, our three-night stay was comfortable, clean, and relaxing. There is a taxi stand on one side of this block and the Ottaviano Metro stop is two blocks away. The Vatican Museum entrance is about two blocks away. The neighborhood is mixed business and residential and is busy but seemed very safe and walkable. But Marina is my new favorite person in the world. After she buzzed us in the secured front door at street level, she met us at the elevator. She stored our luggage until our room was ready, as we had arrived a bit early. She gave us great recommendations for places to eat, shop, and how to get around. She made sure we had anything and everything we needed during our stay. We communicated easily in person and through WhatsApp and the Booking chat. Moreover, when my wife discovered she had left some items behind in the room, Marina went over and above all expectations to reunite us with those items two weeks later when we returned from our cruise.

  Marina was really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We had everything that we needed it. Location was really good. everything was very close by. I was recovering from a shoulder injury and she even took my ice pack to freeze it during the day. If I ever come back to Rome. I would definitely stay there!
