Hotel Description
Nestled in the enchanting outskirts of Rome, the magnificent 4-star La Valle dei Casali offers an exceptional retreat for discerning travelers seeking both luxury and authenticity. Located at Vicolo del Conte 66 in Rome’s southwestern quarter, this distinguished establishment has earned an outstanding 9.3 rating from satisfied guests, placing it among the most highly acclaimed accommodations in the Eternal City. The hotel’s name, which translates to “Valley of the Farmhouses,” hints at its unique setting—a serene pocket of Rome that provides a welcome respite from the bustling tourist centers while maintaining convenient access to the city’s iconic attractions.
Situated in the charming 00148 district, La Valle dei Casali enjoys proximity to some of Rome’s hidden gems. The hotel rests near the vast Villa Pamphili, Rome’s largest landscaped public park, where guests can enjoy morning jogs or leisurely afternoon strolls among baroque gardens and picturesque lakes. The historic Trastevere neighborhood, known for its narrow cobblestone streets, traditional restaurants, and vibrant nightlife, is just a short journey away. For those interested in exploring Rome’s renowned landmarks, the Vatican City, Spanish Steps, and Colosseum are easily accessible via public transportation or a quick taxi ride. The hotel’s strategic location in a more residential area allows guests to experience authentic Roman life, with local markets, family-owned trattorias, and quaint cafés dotting the surrounding streets, offering a glimpse into the everyday rhythm of Roman culture that many tourists miss when staying in more central locations.
What truly sets La Valle dei Casali apart, as reflected in its exceptional 9.3 rating, is its harmonious blend of sophisticated comfort and personalized service. The hotel’s architecture marries classic Roman elegance with contemporary design elements, creating spaces that feel both timeless and modern. Guest rooms and suites are thoughtfully appointed with premium furnishings, luxurious linens, and state-of-the-art amenities that cater to both leisure and business travelers. Many rooms offer enchanting views of the surrounding neighborhood or the hotel’s meticulously maintained gardens, where guests can enjoy tranquil moments after days spent exploring Rome’s treasures. The attentive staff, fluent in multiple languages, pride themselves on their ability to craft personalized experiences for each guest—whether arranging private tours of lesser-known Roman sites, securing reservations at coveted restaurants, or simply providing insightful local recommendations that transform a standard visit into an unforgettable journey. Giuseppe and Alatonia are the loveliest hosts, nothing was a problem, everything was possible, Giuseppe has excellent English and is very helpful. The gardens and the pool area are stunning. The most peaceful location, minutes from the bus stop that takes you quickly to the city.

Everything – Guiseppe made us feel so welcome and it was a beautiful place to stay. We ended up cycling to and from Rome centre which was fun and cut down the price of taxis. Big thank you Guiseppe! Jenna & Calum 🙂

Peacefulness of the property – close to the attractions of Rome but quiet and very easy to relax by the pool after visiting attractions in Rome. We didn’t have a car so we took Uber from the airport and after that we walked to a grocery store and restaurant. You can take a public bus to the center of Rome.

Would love to return one dayThomas from Norway (10/10)
It is a beautiful place to spend some time while visiting Rome. Giuseppe and his family are really kind and welcoming. The garden and pool are fantastic and we enjoyed spending the day there and heading to Rome later in the day which is easy to get to on the bus.

Giuseppe and Antonia really made our experience very special. We were picked up by Giuseppe from the airport after arriving quite late from a 22 hour flight and he spoke very good English and was so kind and friendly immediately. Antonia also greeted us and our children with a warm hug. We felt very welcome! The pool was perfect and our kids had a ball! Giuseppe even arranged taxis for us as well and nothing was too difficult. We loved that there weren’t too many guests as well so it felt very private. It was a short 20 min taxi or bus into Rome which we also liked as Rome is very busy this time of year. There’s a supermarket and amazing delicatessen serving Pizza just around the corner also and some good restaurants within walking distance. This was our first stay in a 5 week trip around Italy and Greece and it is one that we will definitely remember! Thankyou Giuseppe and Antonia, you are beautiful people! Xx
