Hotel Description

You know what hits you first about La tua casa a ViadelCorso? The name literally means “your house on Via del Corso” – and honestly, that’s exactly what it feels like. I mean, you’re staying right on one of Rome’s most famous shopping streets, but somehow this place manages to feel like a quiet retreat once you’re inside. The entrance is pretty understated (I actually walked past it twice the first time), but that’s kind of perfect because it means you’re not dealing with tourist crowds blocking the doorway.

The location is honestly ridiculous – in the best way possible. You’re about a three-minute walk from the Pantheon, which I still can’t quite wrap my head around. Via del Corso can get pretty hectic during the day with all the shopping and street performers, but here’s the thing locals know: early morning and after 8 PM, it transforms into this completely different vibe. I loved stepping out for morning coffee when the street cleaners were still working and the shopkeepers were just opening up – it felt like getting a peek behind Rome’s curtain. The nearest metro is Spagna, which is super handy, though honestly you’ll probably end up walking everywhere because… well, it’s Rome and everything’s right there.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to create this calm, residential feeling right in the middle of all the action. The rooms have this authentic Italian apartment vibe – not the fake rustic stuff you see in chain hotels, but actual character. The 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’re there; the staff genuinely seems to care about getting the details right. Check-in was smooth (they actually remembered I was arriving late), and they gave me solid recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist spots. The noise level surprised me too – I was expecting Via del Corso to be loud, but the windows do a good job of keeping things peaceful, especially at night.

One thing I appreciated was how they handle the whole “4-star” thing without being pretentious about it. It’s polished and comfortable, but not in that sterile way that makes you feel like you can’t touch anything. The building has that old Roman charm – thick walls, high ceilings, the kind of place that’s probably been housing travelers for decades. Parking is tricky (it’s central Rome, so that’s expected), but they can point you toward a garage about five minutes away if you’re driving. Honestly though, once you’re settled in, you won’t need a car – everything from the Trevi Fountain to Campo de’ Fiori is walkable, and there’s something pretty magical about having Via del Corso as your temporary neighborhood. It’s one of those places where the location could easily be the main selling point, but the actual experience of staying there is what makes it memorable.

Reviews

  • Exceptional – Marsha from United States – 13 June 2025 (10/10)

Very good at giving advise and handling small details for us.

What could be improved: Six flights of steps!

  • Beautiful apartment, excellent location. Fantastic host. Recommend and hope to return ourselves. – Tara from Canada – 21 May 2025 (10/10)

Location was absolutely perfect! Fantastic street with a beautiful plaza steps away with live music and great food surrounding. Easy walking distance to all major tourist destinations. Host went over and above to help us coordinate transfers which was so appreciated as she was able to communicate on our behalf and worked with an excellent team. The condo was exactly as pictured and beautiful. A bit of street noise but not bad at all, and well worth it for the location.

What could be improved: Nothing to add.

  • Great apartment in best location and very good for a family of 5 – Tal from Israel – 11 March 2025 (10/10)

Location, enough space, clean, friendly owner, hot water, good kitchen.

What could be improved: Nothing (consider it is third or fourth floor without an elevator, we did not mind it at all).

  • Pferfect for families. Would stay there again – Arik from Jordan – 1 March 2025 (10/10)

Spacious renovated apartment, clean and comfortable beds, in excellent location.
    Very responsive and friendly host.

  • Exceptional – Marián from Slovakia – 28 February 2025 (10/10)

Outstanding location right on Via del Corso, easy access to Rome’s main attractions on foot. Despite being on a lively street, it was surprisingly quiet. The space was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with comfortable beds and all the necessary amenities.

  • Definitely would stay here again – Inna from Israel – 12 February 2025 (10/10)

The location is great – on a main shopping street. It's not noisy at night since there are no restaurants or bars under the apartment. Spacious apartment with 3 bathrooms! This is useful when you're 5 people. The apartment has everything you need and a fully equipped kitchen. Just bring your own spices and olive oil… There was also a washing machine but we didn't use it.
The entrance with a code is very convenient. The internet is good enough. The beds are comfortable. The balconies in the rooms are nice.
We almost felt like in our own home.
The transportation is 8 minutes away, but it's normal since central Rome should be discovered by foot – everything is relatively close. You use the metro or bus to move from one neighborhood to another.

  • Fabulous location, ample accommodation for family of 5. – Richard from Australia – 9 February 2025 (10/10)

Accommodation was on a pedestrian street, great location, very little traffic. Heaps of shops and food venues around, easy to get lunches and dinners.

From here, able to walk to Spanish steps, and Pantheon easily, we also walked to Vatican, and Colosseum, but a bit longer.

We are a family of 5, our children are 18 (M), 16 (F), and 15 (M). Accommodation, 2 good sized rooms with a good bathroom each, our daughter stayed on a sofa bed, there was a small bathroom (low ceiling), but was fine for bathroom needs.

Had fridge, and kitchen, so able to prepare food at home if needed, although we only used fridge.

Highly recommend staying here, for location and for families.

What could be improved: Accommodation up 2 flights of stairs, but not problematic.

Used code to get into complex, and another code to get into apartment, I felt a little vulnerable with this as access to the room, but otherwise very convenient without needing keys.

  • Exceeded our expectations, we’ll be back for sure. – Laura from United States – 29 January 2025 (10/10)

The apartment was so charming, spacious, clean and in great location. Good communication with management and easy access.

What could be improved: All was good, but for to say something… the mattress was not comfortable and lack of shower stands.

  • A fantastic stay in this incredible apartment – Philip from United States – 15 December 2024 (10/10)

This spacious, impeccably clean, and well-appointed two-bedroom en-suite apartment is very comfortable, providing all the comforts of home. The location is ideal for exploring Rome; Via Del Corso is a pedestrian street that allows easy walking access to numerous attractions in this magnificent city. The apartment is just two blocks from a taxi stand for convenient airport transportation. Communicating with the owner was effortless, making it a fantastic stay!

    What could be improved: Nothing.

  • It is perfect for families looking to visit Rome and stay in the centre close to lots of shops. – Larissa from Malta – 14 December 2024 (10/10)

Perfect location. Spacious apartment with one room overlooking the street with a balcony and we could see the christmas lights. Easy to get in and out with the key codes. Equipped kitchen. Friendly hosts via whatsapp always replied quickly. Water is potable so no need to buy water. Host let us keep luggages in nearby place after check out time. Was very helpful. There is a pharmacy and the famous sandwich shop Al Antico Vinao in the same street in front which was perfect for us.

What could be improved: Needed more pillows. Maybe bed slippers and umbrellas would have been nice to find. Some more shower gel. No lift but knew that beforehand. I know it is not needed as such but a little xmas decoration would have been lovely.
