Okay, so first thing about La tua casa a Piazza del Popolo – the name literally means “your house at Piazza del Popolo” and honestly, that’s exactly what it feels like. I mean, you’re staying right on Via del Corso, which is basically Rome’s main shopping artery, but somehow this place manages to feel like you’re crashing at a friend’s incredibly well-appointed apartment rather than just another hotel. The location is absolutely ridiculous in the best way possible – you can literally roll out of bed and be at the Spanish Steps in about three minutes, or wander over to Piazza del Popolo (hence the name) in the other direction.

What really gets me about this place is how they’ve nailed that sweet spot between being right in the thick of everything but not feeling touristy. You know how some hotels in prime locations feel like they’re just capitalizing on geography? This isn’t that. The interiors have this understated elegance – think modern Italian design without being showy about it. The rooms actually feel like spaces you’d want to hang out in, not just crash in after a day of sightseeing. And the staff… well, they seem to genuinely know Rome, not just the tourist version of it. I had someone recommend this tiny osteria tucked away behind Pantheon that I never would have found otherwise.

The practical stuff matters too – Via del Corso can get pretty hectic during the day (it’s prime shopping territory), but the rooms are well-insulated so you’re not dealing with constant street noise. Though honestly, being able to people-watch from your window while Romans do their evening passeggiata is kind of perfect. Parking is going to be a nightmare if you’re driving, but then again, you really don’t need a car here – you can walk to Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Villa Borghese, basically everything central Rome has to offer. The metro stop at Spagna is right there too if you want to venture further out. I’d say the only downside is that you might end up spending more money than planned because some of Rome’s best shopping is literally on your doorstep, and there’s this incredible gelato place – Giolitti – that’s been around since the 1900s just a few blocks away. Fair warning: once you find it, you’ll probably end up there every day like I did.

  The apartment looks even better than pictured, is super clean and comfortable, quiet when the windows are closed, and in a fabulous location. I highly recommend and im sure I will be back here when visiting Rome.

  We had a great 3 nights in this apartment. So surprised and so pleased!! Great location – just 10 minutes walk to the Spanish steps. 15/20 stroll to Trevi.
  We actually walked all over from the apartment. Only got a taxi once and that was due to the rain.
  
  We walked from the apartment to the Vatican City, Pantheon, Colosseum … it’s a great base so 40 minutes walking is a pleasant mooch and explore on the way to your destination.
  Must have missed the part where it stated two bathrooms so that was a nice surprise.
  
  Apartment was easy to find and hosts were really helpful with arranging taxi transfers for us.
  Shall absolutely definitely be back!!!

  Excellent location, facilities excellent – everything you could need. Very clean, spacious and well-appointed. Great little balcony ideal for people watching.

  The location was perfect: city center between Piazza Popolo and Piazza Spagna. 15 minutes (with kids) walking from Trevi Fountain. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. We strongly recommend it. We were 2 adults with 2 kids (5 and 8) and the appartment size is perfect. Also to highlight that even if it is a very central location, the windows block all the noise from the street!

  Location was so central, situated in main shopping street but was incredibly quiet.Lots of restaurants nearby. 5 mins from Spanish steps and about 20 min walk to colesseum. The apartment was spotless and very secure and very comfortable.I particularly liked the balcony, great for people watching.I would definitely stay here again.

  The apartment is very quiet, even though it's on a busy street. The location is excellent; we walked to most places except for the Vatican. The house is spacious with two bathrooms and has been newly renovated, so everything is very new. There's also air conditioning, which is particularly great.

  Our party of 6 adults were very comfortable here, with 2 members using the pull out sofa. Great location about 4 mins walking to Spanish Steps and a ton of shops and restaurants right outside the door. May have been better to be more central near Trevi Fountain but we were still able to walk to all the sites and even walked to Vatican City, which was about 35mins. Entire building is well maintained and very secure. Air conditioning works great as well. Host was responsive, friendly, and very helpful. No complaints!
