The rooms are comfortable in that European way where everything serves a purpose without being flashy. Mine overlooked a small courtyard (which kept things blessedly quiet – trust me, you don’t want to face Via del Corso if you’re hoping to sleep past sunrise), and the bathroom had one of those rainfall showers that actually worked properly. I’ll be honest, the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty on the upper floors, but honestly, you’re in the heart of ancient Rome – maybe that’s the universe telling you to put the phone down and wander. The real magic happens when you step outside anyway. You’re surrounded by layers of history that most tourists rush past – there’s a tiny church around the corner that dates back to the 1400s, and the local café on the next street makes the kind of cappuccino that spoils you for everywhere else. The area gets busy during peak tourist season, sure, but early mornings and late evenings have this almost mystical quality when the crowds thin out and you can hear your footsteps echoing off the stone walls.   Very nicely located in the heart of Rome. We stayed on the top floor in a 3-bed room with a amazing view over the roof tops and a nice terrace. My brother stayed on the ground floor with a view of a brick wall when he opened his window, so it’s all about which room you will get.

  Lovely quirky little hotel tucked away in a fabulous location by Piazza Navona. Lots of stairs, but the staff are happy to help with the luggage. We only stayed one night, but wish It could have been longer! Would be happy to return.
