Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about Home at Rome Luxury Navona Suites? It’s tucked right into that bustling stretch of Corso Vittorio Emanuele II where Romans actually do their shopping – I mean, you’re literally surrounded by the kind of authentic street life that most tourists miss entirely. The entrance is understated (honestly, I walked past it twice before spotting the discreet signage), but once you’re inside, it’s like stepping into someone’s incredibly well-appointed Roman apartment. The suites actually feel like homes, not hotel rooms – there’s proper kitchenette space with good coffee gear, and the living areas have that lived-in elegance that makes you want to kick off your shoes and stay awhile.

The location is pretty brilliant if you think about it. Sure, everyone talks about being “near the Pantheon,” but what they don’t mention is that you’re about a three-minute walk from some of Rome’s best gelato at Giolitti, and you can duck into Sant’Andrea della Valle – this gorgeous baroque church that’s usually empty of tourists – when you need a moment of quiet. The Navona area gets crazy crowded during peak season, but here’s the thing: the suites are set back enough from the main piazza chaos that you actually get decent sleep. I was there in July and expected the worst, but the street noise was manageable even with windows cracked open for that evening breeze.

What really sold me was the staff’s approach – they’re not hovering or overly formal, just genuinely helpful in that Roman way where they’ll give you the real scoop on where to eat (skip the tourist traps around Pantheon, walk five minutes toward Campo de’ Fiori instead). The 4-star rating feels about right; it’s not trying to be the St. Regis, but the quality is consistently solid. Everything works, the Wi-Fi is actually reliable, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The bathrooms are modern without being sterile, and honestly, having a proper shower with decent water pressure after walking Roman cobblestones all day is not something to take lightly. The 8.8 rating makes sense – it’s the kind of place where small details are handled well, but it’s not flashy about it. If you want to feel like you’re staying in Rome rather than just visiting it, this hits that sweet spot between comfort and authenticity.

Reviews

  • Had a great stay in this spacious very centrally located apartment . – Lynne from New Zealand – 5 June 2025 (8/10)

The location was amazing g – very central – walkable to lots of places!

What could be improved: The decor was dark and dismal !
A home from home would have a washing machine and a fridge freezer !

  • The apartment was a perfect stay for our busy days! – Tyson from United States – 4 June 2025 (10/10)

The location was perfect. We took taxis to our sites but in the afternoon it was perfect to walk the streets and eat near the hotel. The Vatican is 10 minutes away. Very safe. The breakfast place beside of it served a great breakfast.

  • A great base for sightseeing in Rome's historic center – Galya from Bulgaria – 25 May 2025 (9/10)

Excellent location near Piazza Navona with friendly, helpful staff. The apartment was very clean and recently renovated – perfect for our family of 4 with two full bathrooms.

What could be improved: We occasionally noticed some sewer odors, but since we spent most of our time exploring the city, it wasn't a major issue.

  • Definitely would comeback – Ana from Portugal – 15 May 2025 (10/10)

    Location, cleanness, decoration

What could be improved: That they leave the windows open everytime and the room would get cold

  • Excellent position and recently renovated – Luca from Poland – 11 May 2025 (10/10)

We were 2 families travelling together, we stayed in apartment 1 and 2. The apartments were very clean, recently renovated. They had every comfort, and everything was in working order. We had zero problems during our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the feeling of the rooms was definitely luxurious.
The position is fantastic: safe, close to piazza Navona, the Vatican and to a lot of good restaurants (the owner kindly provided a list of recommendations). It’s perfect when traveling with children.
Very good value for money, anything in this price range was located at least 500m farther away from piazza Navona and Vatican

  • Lovely property – excellent value for money. – Zoe from United Kingdom – 8 May 2025 (10/10)

It was clean, modern, and had excellent facilities. The suite was beautiful.

  • 10+ – Nenad from Serbia – 2 May 2025 (10/10)

    Extra location and extra apartment.

What could be improved: Everything was super!

  • Perfect accomodation for family. – Atsuhiko from Germany – 19 April 2025 (10/10)

    Security system is well equipped.
Location is convenient on foot to anywhere and just in front of bus stop.
Mist shower room is good for family.
    Bathtub was also good.
Super clean room and exchange towels everyday.
Toothblush, shampoo, bodysoap, bodylotion were set.
    Generous gift for beverages everyday.

What could be improved: If there would be tissue in a room and powerful hair dryer, that makes perfect.
Surely it's still good enough even if these are not prepared.

  • Would definitely recommend! – Joni from Canada – 1 April 2025 (10/10)

Great location and fabulous, completely renovated 2 bedroom. Host was very responsive and provided information on restaurants in the area.

  • Superb – Jan from Slovakia – 14 March 2025 (9/10)

outstanding location, very nice and modern accomodation

What could be improved: just one bathroom upstairs, one more downstairs would make it top notch
