Hotel Description

Look, I’ll be straight with you about the Frattina High-end apt – it’s basically what happens when someone takes a prime Roman location and actually does something smart with it. You’re literally on Via Frattina, which means you’re in that sweet spot where you can stumble to the Spanish Steps in about two minutes (honestly, you’ll probably walk past them accidentally), but you’re not dealing with the absolute chaos of being right on top of them.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s stylish Roman friend let you crash at their place – you know, if your friend happened to have excellent taste and a serious budget. It’s got that high-end thing going on without being stuffy about it, which is honestly refreshing because Rome has plenty of places that try way too hard. The space feels authentically Roman but updated, if that makes sense. I mean, you’re not going to find those paper-thin walls or weird plumbing quirks that plague some of the older conversions in the area. What really got me was how quiet it manages to be – Via Frattina gets busy during shopping hours (and trust me, it gets busy), but somehow the apartment stays surprisingly peaceful. Must be good windows or something.

Here’s what you need to know practically: you’re going to walk everywhere from here, which is exactly what you want in Rome. Via del Corso is right there for your shopping therapy, the Pantheon is an easy stroll, and you can hit up that little alimentari on Via della Croce for actual groceries instead of tourist snacks. The neighborhood has this thing where it’s fancy enough that you feel like you’re living well, but it’s not so precious that you can’t just exist normally. You’ll see plenty of actual Romans going about their business, not just tour groups – always a good sign. The 8.5 rating makes sense too; it’s not perfect (honestly, what is?), but it delivers on what it promises without any nasty surprises. I’d say the biggest thing is managing expectations about space – this is Rome, so “high-end” doesn’t mean sprawling, but it does mean everything works properly and looks good while doing it. If you’re the type who needs to be in the thick of things but also wants to sleep well and have a proper base, this hits that balance pretty well.

  • Exceptional – Jovanovic from Serbia – 25 May 2025 (10/10)

    Everything was great!

  • Superb – Gim from United Kingdom – 23 December 2024 (9/10)

Location is wonderful, apartment is clean and great balcony

  • Fabulous location and a comfortable apartment. – 6 from Australia – 3 July 2025 (8/10)

We were met by friendly Ahmed at the property and he showed us the apartment and its features….not often today are you met in person. He also came on another day to resolve a lift issue…all solved so quickly. Thanks Ahmed!
The property is located in one of our favourite part of Rome! It’s great. And it was quite confortable though the aircon was average, something often encountered in Europe when the weather heats up. A fan was also provided which was fabulous.
The balcony was great in the late evening when Rome had cooled down.

What could be improved: No basic condiments in the kitchen normally found in other apartments in Europe….namely salt, pepper and olive oil.

  • Excellent location. – Rafael from United States – 14 May 2025 (10/10)

    Excellent location.

  • Good location. Unhelpful hosts. – Tracy from United Kingdom – 18 March 2025 (7/10)

Good location. Comfortable bed. Nice natural light.

What could be improved: No bottle of champagne which was part of the booking. Despite being told coffee would be delivered it never arrived. We were 3 people with different itineraries. Despite a number of requests for a second key there was no attempt to facilitate. It really complicated our stay having to coordinate entrance and exit. I felt that for a 6 night stay they could have got another key cut but didn’t really want to bother. Tiny lift a bit claustrophobic. Flat smaller than it looked in photos.

  • Rome experiences for 3N is awesome. – Mohd from Malaysia – 8 June 2025 (7/10)

    Location

What could be improved: Apartment was not fully clean. Lots of dust on the floor, near the bed, dining table. The water pressure in the bathroom is low. Lift to access the apartment is very tiny, cannot accommodate all our luggages. Have to do few trips ups and downs which is cumbersome. The unit should be equipped with washing machine and dryer facilities. It’s quite a task to go to self service laundry which located 700-800m from the apartment. Finally, please show the real unit pictures. Pictures established in the site were not representing the actual unit. Too bad.

  • Unhappy Rome customer – Rodrigo from United States – 14 June 2025 (6/10)

    Location

What could be improved: The pictures in the advertising don’t show what the reality is, the place is smaller, is not balcony, is not bidet in the bathroom, the air conditioner is very deficient and the room ( because is not an apartment ) get really hot, is not kitchen in the place .

  • Poor – Olga from Spain – 22 June 2025 (3/10)

Good location , very close to "Shopping and sightseeing."

What could be improved: Check-out at 10 p.m., couldn’t prolong by request (cheat)
very low water pressure (a shower head is leaking), the bathroom is constantly humid and has a bad smell

  • Buon appartamentino in un’ottima zona, ci torneremo. – Marina from Belgium – 1 June 2025 (9/10)

Appartamentino ben situato e con tutte le comodità necessarie. Ottima reattività alle richieste extra e buona accoglienza. Letto e cuscini ottimi.

What could be improved: Consiglierei di lasciare un vademecum con le strutture/ristoranti consigliati nei dintorni, sarebbe utile. Divano scomodo, è più un letto. Ma questo a veramente voler cercare il pelo nell’uovo…

  • Superb – Fernando from Spain – 30 May 2025 (9/10)

La luminosidad del apartamento y la ubicación.

What could be improved: El ascensor, no me gustó nada. Es un ascensor tan estrecho que no cabía ni siquiera el carro del niño.
