The location in Vaticano Prati is honestly brilliant, especially if you want to experience Rome like locals do rather than just hitting the tourist trail. You’re walking distance to St. Peter’s — maybe 15 minutes if you stroll — but you’re also surrounded by actual Roman life. There’s this fantastic morning market just a few blocks away, and the neighborhood has that authentic feel where you’ll hear more Italian than English on the streets. The metro connection is solid too, so getting to the Colosseum or Spanish Steps is straightforward.

Your Home Base

The room I stayed in felt surprisingly spacious for Rome standards — and trust me, that matters here where even expensive hotels can feel cramped. Everything’s been thoughtfully designed with clean lines and warm touches that make you want to actually spend time there, not just crash after sightseeing. The bed was genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathroom had one of those rainfall showers that actually works properly. Small details like good lighting for reading and plenty of outlets near the bed show someone really thought about how people actually use hotel rooms.

The Personal Touch

What sets this place apart is how personal everything feels — it’s like Franca herself has curated every detail. The staff genuinely knows the neighborhood and will give you recommendations that go beyond the obvious tourist spots. They pointed me toward this little restaurant around the corner that I never would’ve found otherwise, and it ended up being one of my best meals in Rome. There’s also this lovely communal area where you can have coffee in the morning and actually chat with other travelers if you’re in the mood.

  Location si perfect, really close to Vatican, the apartment was really clean, ready for sleep, it even had a coffee. It has balcony. We travelled with a baby and the stroller did not make it to the lift, we had to take it apart, because the lift is very thin, but it was not a problem. Communication with owner Daniel was great and he responded quickly, he even let us let the baggage in the hall after check out. Thank you Daniel

  Great location right next to the metro station and 10 min away from the Vatican by foot. Restaurants and grocery shops nearby. The apartment is clean and suprisingly big. Check in was easy.

  I think it is the best location close to Vatican City. Restaurants, McDonald's, and supermarkets are nearby, and the subway station is 5 minutes away. There are a lot of shops around, but it's nice because it's not noisy and it's not a particularly dangerous location. The room condition was good and clean. Since it was a self-check-in system, I was able to check in comfortably.
