Hotel Description

Nestled in the elegant and upscale Salario district of Rome, the three-star Essenza House offers an exquisite blend of comfort, style, and authentic Italian hospitality. Located at Via Alessandria, 129, this boutique accommodation has earned an exceptional 9.4 rating from guests, placing it among Rome’s most beloved mid-range hotels. The impressive rating reflects the establishment’s commitment to personalized service, attention to detail, and the seamless balance between modern amenities and classic Roman charm. Essenza House sits in a privileged position in Rome’s 00198 district, a refined residential area that provides a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the tourist-heavy historic center, while remaining conveniently connected to the city’s iconic attractions.

The hotel’s location on Via Alessandria places guests within walking distance of the magnificent Villa Borghese, Rome’s third-largest public park and home to the renowned Borghese Gallery with its impressive collection of Bernini sculptures and Caravaggio paintings. Just a short stroll away is the vibrant Quartiere Coppedè, an architectural marvel featuring a whimsical mix of Art Nouveau, Baroque, and Medieval influences. The prestigious Parioli neighborhood lies nearby, offering upscale dining options and elegant streets lined with embassies and luxury residences. Transportation connections are excellent, with the Castro Pretorio metro station accessible within minutes, providing direct links to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and Roman Forum. This strategic position makes Essenza House an ideal base for both first-time visitors eager to explore Rome’s monumental sites and returning travelers seeking a more authentic local experience in a distinguished residential district.

What truly sets Essenza House apart, as reflected in its outstanding 9.4 rating, is the remarkable attention to guest experience that permeates every aspect of the property. The hotel’s name, “Essenza,” meaning “essence” in Italian, perfectly captures its philosophy of distilling the Roman experience to its most refined elements. Each room is thoughtfully appointed with a harmonious blend of contemporary comforts and subtle nods to traditional Italian design, creating spaces that feel both luxurious and genuinely welcoming. Despite its three-star classification, Essenza House delivers a service level that rivals many higher-rated establishments, with multilingual staff renowned for their intimate knowledge of Rome’s hidden treasures and ability to secure reservations at the city’s most sought-after restaurants. The property’s common areas invite relaxation after days of exploration, offering tranquil spaces where guests can enjoy a perfectly crafted espresso or a glass of regional wine. For travelers seeking an authentic, high-quality Roman sojourn away from the tourist crowds but with convenient access to the Eternal City’s incomparable attractions, Essenza House provides not just accommodation, but a genuine home in Rome, as evidenced by its near-perfect guest satisfaction score of 9.4.

We absolutely loved our stay at Essenza House! The location was perfect—within walking distance to the city center, yet in a calm and safe neighborhood. The bus stop was conveniently around the corner, making it easy to explore the city. Our room was spotless and well-maintained, with housekeeping available every morning. The owner was incredibly helpful, providing us with all the information we needed upon arrival and always available in case we needed anything. There were also some lovely cafés and restaurants nearby, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
