It’s sophisticated without being stuffy, if that makes sense. The owner clearly knows what they’re doing – everything from the linens to the coffee setup feels thoughtfully chosen, not just thrown together like some rental places.

Location-wise, you’re about a 10-minute walk to the Vatican Museums, but here’s what the guidebooks don’t tell you: Via Crescenzio is actually quiet at night. The Prati neighborhood doesn’t get the late-night party crowd, so you can sleep with the windows open and just hear the occasional Vespa puttering by. There’s a fantastic little alimentari right around the corner on Via Cola di Rienzo – perfect for morning cornetti or grabbing wine for the terrace. The metro’s close enough (Lepanto station), but honestly, you’ll probably end up walking everywhere because this part of Rome is just so walkable. Oh, and parking – well, it’s Rome, so don’t expect miracles, but the area isn’t as nightmarish as the historic center. The whole setup feels like staying in someone’s actual Roman home rather than a generic hotel room, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to live like a local for a few days.

  A beautiful apartment at the top of an old block with a real vintage feel. The lift is really special – like something from an old movie.
  Inside there is lots of light and space, modern bathrooms and kitchen appliances – all exactly as it appears in the photos. Beds and sofas are extremely comfortable.
  The local area is very convenient, with shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep, and public transport links very nearby.
  The management are responsive and helpful, with clear friendly communication.

  L’emplacement à proximité des lieux de visites et de tous les modes de transports ( le bus aéroport s’arrête à 100 mètres ). Un quartier très vivant avec ses commerces et restaurants et le Mercato Triomfale le meilleurs marché couvert de Rome. Le Vatican est à peine 10 mn à pieds.
  L’appartement est vaste, lumineux, décoré sobrement, confortable, avec une petite terrasse où nous avons pu déjeuner plusieurs fois avec ce temps exceptionnel pour novembre. Une belle grande chambre avec sa salle de bain et wc privés. La literie est bonne.
  La cuisine est bien équipée pour qui aime cuisiner les produits exceptionnels du mercato.
  Marzia et son assistante ont été extrêmement réactives pour régler quelques détails.
