Easyrome Guest House Overview
First Impressions
Honestly, when I first walked up to Easyrome Guest House on Via Milazzo, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a guest house tucked away on the second floor of a typical Roman building. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t shout about themselves from the street. This four-star property sits right in the heart of Rome, just steps from Termini Station, and once you climb those stairs to the second floor, you’ll understand why couples keep rating the location so highly.
The Perfect Roman Base
The location is actually brilliant — I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from Central Station, which sounds touristy but works perfectly in practice. You can drop your bags and be at the Colosseum in fifteen minutes, or catch a train to the airport without any stress. What I really appreciated was how the neighborhood feels authentically Roman despite being so central. There are proper local bars and trattorias mixed in with the tourist spots, and you’ll find yourself grabbing morning coffee alongside actual Romans heading to work.
Sleep Quality That Actually Matters
Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places in Rome where the beds felt like they were borrowed from a medieval monastery, so I was genuinely surprised by how comfortable the beds are here. The property has built quite a reputation for this — and after spending three nights there, I can see why. The room I stayed in was compact but thoughtfully designed, with proper blackout curtains that actually block out the morning light. You know how rare that is in Rome? Plus, despite being near the station, the windows are well-insulated, so you’re not dealing with constant traffic noise.
What Makes It Work
The guest house has this relaxed, almost residential feel that’s hard to find in central Rome. It’s not trying to be a grand hotel — instead, it focuses on getting the basics absolutely right. The staff genuinely seem to care about helping you navigate the city, and they’ll give you the kind of local recommendations you’d get from a Roman friend. The whole place feels clean and well-maintained without being sterile, if that makes sense. There’s free WiFi that actually works reliably, which honestly shouldn’t be noteworthy but somehow still is in some Roman accommodations.
Why Guests Love It
After talking to other guests during my stay, the same themes kept coming up — the location, the comfort, and the value. Couples especially seem drawn to this place, probably because it offers that perfect balance of being central enough to explore on foot but quiet enough to actually rest between sightseeing marathons. The 9.4 rating reflects what you’ll experience: a place that doesn’t promise the world but delivers exactly what most travelers actually need in Rome. It’s the kind of spot where you’ll sleep well, start your day without hassle, and maybe even find yourself recommending it to friends back home.
Exploring Rome layers ancient ruins, baroque facades, and trattorias perfumed with simmering ragù.

Enrico was an incredibly kind and accommodating host. He made note of sites to see on a map and even told us which buses to take. It was very helpful to have a paper map!
The complimentary breakfast is conveniently served at a cafe across the street. The fresh squeezed orange juice was amazing alongside the fresh pastries. The location is a five minute walk from the train station.Kirsten from Germany (10/10)
