You know what caught me off guard about DreamyNest Quattro Cantoni? The moment I walked in, it felt like someone’s ridiculously well-appointed Roman apartment rather than a typical hotel. I mean, the building itself sits on this tiny street – Via dei Quattro Cantoni – that most tourists never notice, tucked away in Monti where locals actually live and work. The two-bedroom setup is honestly perfect if you’re traveling with friends or family, because you get real space to spread out instead of being cramped into one of those shoebox hotel rooms near the major sites.

What really got me was how the owners clearly know their neighborhood. They’ve got this whole setup where you can walk to the Colosseum in about eight minutes – and I actually timed it because I’m nerdy like that – but you’re staying in a part of Rome that feels authentic. The streets around here fill up with locals heading to work in the morning, and there’s this fantastic little café just around the corner on Via del Boschetto where you can get proper espresso without the tourist markup. The apartment itself has these gorgeous high ceilings and original details that make you feel like you’re living in old Rome, not just visiting it. The kitchen is actually functional too, which is rare – I ended up cooking a few meals there because the local market on Via Panisperna has incredible produce.

Honestly, the 9.2 rating makes total sense once you spend a night there. The beds are seriously comfortable (I’m picky about this), the neighborhood gets surprisingly quiet after 10 PM even though you’re in the heart of the city, and the whole place just feels thoughtfully put together. I loved that I could walk to Cavour metro station in five minutes when I wanted to explore other parts of Rome, but I also discovered this whole network of tiny streets and local wine bars that I never would have found staying near the Spanish Steps or Vatican. The only thing that might bug some people is that the building doesn’t have an elevator – but honestly, it’s just two flights up and the character of these old Roman buildings is worth the climb. If you want to feel like you’re actually staying in Rome rather than just visiting the highlights, this place gets it right.

  Good location within walking distance to Colosseum, Roma Termini, and many excellent restaurants. Very comfortable two-bedroom, two-bath apartment with convenient check-in, access via phone, air conditioning, kitchen, etc. and a nasoni right outside the front door. Would highly recommend.

  The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from Roma Termini. The host was incredibly helpful; when we encountered an issue with the door upon arrival, he responded immediately and assisted us promptly. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. I highly recommend this property for anyone staying in Rome.

  Very spacious apartment with 2 bathrooms, good location, comfy beds, all rooms has an AC. Best for 2 families or couples. We were traveling 4 adults and 2 babies, so we were using all 3 available beds. Sofa bed is very big and also very comfy. Host also prepared baby cod and chair.
