The neighborhood has this perfect mix of ancient ruins and hipster cafes — it’s where young Romans actually want to live, not just the touristy spots they avoid.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was surprisingly spacious for Rome standards, with these gorgeous high ceilings that make you forget you’re in a city where most hotels feel like elegant closets. The design strikes this nice balance between contemporary comfort and respecting the building’s character — think clean lines but with original architectural details that remind you you’re sleeping in centuries of history. The bathroom was modern and well-appointed, though honestly, after walking around Rome all day, you’ll mostly just appreciate having a really good shower.

Location Perfection

Here’s the thing about the location that the guidebooks don’t tell you — yes, you’re close to all the major sites, but you’re also perfectly positioned for the real Rome experience. There’s this fantastic little restaurant called Flavio al Velavevodetto just around the corner where you’ll eat better cacio e pepe than anywhere near the Pantheon, and the morning espresso ritual at the corner bar becomes part of your daily routine. The Cavour metro station is right there when you need it, but honestly, everything worth seeing is walkable from here.

  We loved the place. The apartment is in an excellent location – 5 minutes from the Colosseum, 5 minutes from the metro.
  50 meters to the right you can buy cakes for breakfast, 50 meters to the left – excellent sandwiches for lunch…
  Everything was neat and clean, the kitchen was properly equipped.
  Nothing was missing….
  The hospitality was excellent, the service of Lucia was above and beyond, highly recommended 👍

  Excellent location, a very nice host, and a beautiful place. Nothing was missing in terms of equipment. There are many restaurants around and is very close to the Coliseum.

  The hosts are very friendly and accomodating. The communication with them has been very easy and clear.
  We had our 7 month old baby with us and they purchased a baby cot for us to use in the accommodation.
  
  Location: Great, 5 min walk to the Collisseum, lots of good restaurants around. Easy to walk to other key historical must see.

  We couldn't have been happier with the location of this apartment. So close to the Colosseum right around the corner, a train stop steps away & amazing restaurants right next door. The apartment is on ground level and very easy to access once you find it from the street. You enter into the kitchen which was well equipped. There are 2 bedrooms & 1 1/2 bathrooms. It was extremely clean. The hosts were friendly, polite & accessible if necessary. I think this would be the perfect apartment for a family with teenagers or older children as the secondary, smaller bedroom is a bed that is raised & accessed by steps on both sides. When not out seeing the amazing sights of Rome, we sat at the kitchen table. Apartment was quiet. The linens on the bed were pristine & like a luxury hotel. Very well appointed.
