Hotel Description

Nestled in the charming Via delle Robinie in Rome’s eastern district, the three-star Domus Mariani – Robinie offers an authentic Italian hospitality experience that has earned it an exceptional 9.4 rating from satisfied guests. This boutique accommodation strikes the perfect balance between comfort and accessibility, providing a peaceful retreat from the bustling energy of Italy’s capital while maintaining convenient connections to the city’s most treasured landmarks. Located in the residential Centocelle neighborhood (00172), the hotel presents visitors with an opportunity to experience Rome like a local, away from the tourist-heavy centro storico, yet with the eternal city’s attractions easily within reach.

The Domus Mariani – Robinie stands out among Rome’s accommodations not only for its impressive near-perfect rating but for its intimate approach to hospitality. The hotel’s location on Via delle Robinie puts guests within walking distance of the historic Parco di Centocelle, a green urban space with fascinating archaeological remains that offers a glimpse into Rome’s layered history. The nearby Centocelle metro station connects visitors to Rome’s magnificent center, with the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Vatican City all accessible within 30 minutes. The surrounding neighborhood offers authentic Roman dining experiences, local markets, and charming cafés where you can enjoy your morning cappuccino alongside Romans going about their daily lives. This eastern district of Rome reveals a side of the city that many travelers miss, with its tree-lined streets (appropriately, “Robinie” refers to robinia or locust trees), local shops, and genuine Italian atmosphere that can’t be found in more touristic areas.

What truly distinguishes Domus Mariani – Robinie, as reflected in its outstanding 9.4 rating, is its commitment to personalized service within the framework of a three-star establishment. While maintaining affordable rates compared to central Rome accommodations, the hotel doesn’t compromise on quality or attention to detail. The property likely features comfortable, well-appointed rooms with modern amenities that serve as a welcoming sanctuary after days spent exploring Rome’s cobblestone streets and monumental attractions. The exceptional rating suggests that the staff provides attentive, knowledgeable service—perhaps offering personalized recommendations for hidden local gems or assistance with navigating Rome’s public transportation system. For travelers seeking an authentic Roman experience that combines comfort, value, and a local perspective, Domus Mariani – Robinie represents an ideal choice. Its high guest satisfaction score speaks volumes about the consistent quality of experience it delivers, making it a standout option for discerning visitors who wish to experience both the iconic splendors and everyday charms of the Eternal City.

I was looking for a basic B&B in the area of eastern Rome, near where my niece lives. This location was perfect for that, only a few blocks from there. The location is one block from a metro station, making it easy to get from Domo Mariani to almost anywhere in Rome. There are three bedrooms, individually lockable, around a common kitchen and living room area. The apartment is on the second floor but there is an elevator to get you there. There are numerous restaurants, grocery stores and other amenities in the neighborhood.

  • Anna from Ukraine (10/10)

The apartment is designed as if for personal use, not just for rent – everything is well thought out for convenience. There’s a hairdryer, coffee machine, bidet, dishwasher, and it made our stay very comfortable.

  • Kathryn from Italy (10/10)

super clean and the host was very nice and responsive!

  • Marina from United Arab Emirates (10/10)

    It’s new and very clean

  • Júlia from Hungary (9/10)

The apartment was nice and modern, very well equipped. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe, there are restaurants and shops nearby. Metro station is only a few minutes walk which is very convenient. Communication with Matteo was effective, he always replied quickly and was helpful.
One useful thing to note which is not in connection with the apartment is the fact that the city is preparing for the 2025 jubilee, so the whole city is full of construction works. Therefore if you travel to Rome for the attractions, it might not be the best time to do so. Other then this, we would definitely recommend Domus Mariani 🙂

  • Inés from France (10/10)

The apartment is new, the furniture is pretty and the bed was really comfortable. It’s really a great place to stay for a few days in Rome.
The metro is really close, you’ll have to count 1h to get to the city center at certain hours.

We had a really pleasant stay here!
Room had everything we needed, shared kitchen was convenient – there is a fridge and coffee machine, so that we were able to enjoy morning coffee and a cold drink after a long walk in the evening.
Room itself was perfect as well – bed is very comfy and I especially enjoyed pillows. Bathroom has a nice shower and everyone is extremely clean! They also have daily cleaning service in the morning, so common areas are also spotless all the time.
Location was good – metro stop is very close and also several buses can be used as alternative. And there are a lot of good places to eat around this apartment. One of the best gelatos we tried during a week in Rome was from a place around a corner here.
Host was very quick in communication and friendly.

The apartment was amazing – cozy, clean and for a reasonable price. The host was friendly and provide us with all information up-head, reaction time to our questions was fantastic.

  • Sanja from Slovenia (10/10)

We liked that it was really clean. The bed and the other furniture was new and comfortable to sleep in after a long day of walking. The room and toilet were extremely clean. Thelocation was amazing, 3 minute walk to the metro with which you get to the most important places in Rome

  • Jovana from Serbia (10/10)

Accomodation was excellent! Our room st. Peter was great, we had a lot of space, furniture, bathroom.. everything was like in a booking photos. 😍 Nearby you can get true Italian experience, mornings in lokal bakery with croissant and cappuccino, the best gellato we tried in Rome is also nearby…Metro station mirti is near, only thing that you need is to transfer to metro A..if you want to go to the city center, so who dont like to spend a time in a transportation …🙄 But it s a like 30 minutes… All in all… for Domus Mariani all recommendations!! ❤️❤️
