You’ve got proper grocery stores, neighborhood cafés where the barista remembers your order, and tree-lined streets that make Rome feel almost… manageable, if that makes sense.

The Apartment Experience

The room I stayed in felt more like borrowing a friend’s well-designed apartment than checking into a hotel. There’s a proper kitchenette — not one of those sad mini-fridges with a hot plate, but actual counter space and appliances you’d want to use. I mean, you’re in Rome, so you’ll probably eat out most of the time anyway, but it’s nice knowing you can make proper coffee in the morning or store those amazing pastries you bought too many of (we’ve all been there). Getting Around

What really sold me on this place was how easy everything became once I figured out the neighborhood rhythm. The metro connections are solid — you can get to the Spanish Steps or Colosseum without that exhausting trek through crowded tourist areas. And honestly, parking in Rome is usually a nightmare, but this area is actually manageable if you’re brave enough to drive here. Most evenings, I’d just wander down to the Tiber and walk along the river, which beats fighting crowds at the Trevi Fountain any day of the week.

  The location is perfect: just a 15-minute walk to the Vatican and only 4 minutes from the train station. The apartment is spotless, brand new, and fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. If you don’t feel like cooking, I highly recommend the restaurant "Buona Forchetta," which is just 9 minutes away. The host was incredibly attentive, and the instructions for accessing the apartment were very clear. When we arrived, the sofa bed was already set up, so we could relax right away.

  Very easy to locate the key box since the host sent photos on what’s app, and we were able to enter at our own pace as the keys were in a key box.

  Location was good for us. It was 10 minutes to Saint Peter's. It was close to the train station, easy check in, clean, comfortable, the induction stove top was great, the good host who was pleasant to deal with.
