Hotel Description

Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of Rome apartments, and honestly? Corso View hits that sweet spot where you feel like you’re living in the city instead of just visiting it. The location is sort of ridiculous – you’re literally on Via del Corso, which means you can stumble out in the morning and grab coffee at one of those tiny bars where the locals actually go (there’s this one about three doors down that does cornetti that’ll ruin you for hotel breakfast forever).

What really got me was how the place manages to feel residential even though you’re in the thick of everything. I mean, you’re walking distance from the Spanish Steps – and I’m talking five minutes, not that “walking distance” hotels usually claim that turns into a 20-minute hike. The Trevi Fountain is right there too, though honestly, hit it early morning or late evening unless you enjoy being pressed against a hundred other people taking selfies. The apartment itself has these windows that actually open (you know how rare that is in city centers?), and while there’s street noise – it’s Via del Corso, what do you expect – it dies down after the shops close around 8 PM. The building has that classic Roman feel without being stuffy about it.

Here’s what I actually appreciated: the check-in was smooth, none of that “meet us at a random café three blocks away” nonsense some rentals pull. The space feels bigger than typical Rome accommodations – you can actually move around without bumping into furniture every five seconds. The kitchen setup is decent if you want to grab groceries from the Carrefour Express nearby, though honestly, with all the restaurants within stumbling distance, I mostly used it for morning coffee and storing wine. Speaking of wine, there’s this little enoteca around the corner on Via di Ripetta that the guy at check-in mentioned – proper local spot, not touristy at all. The shower pressure was actually good (miracle in Rome), and the WiFi didn’t cut out every ten minutes like some places. One heads up though – if you’re coming during high season or when the cruise ships dock, the whole area gets pretty packed during the day. But that’s Rome for you, and at least you’re right in the middle of it all instead of taking the metro in from some far-flung neighborhood. For what you’re getting – the location, the space, the whole setup – it’s solid value, especially considering you’re basically living on one of Rome’s main arteries.

Reviews

  • Very good – Oneownedman from Bulgaria – 28 November 2024 (8/10)

The apartment is located on a central, bustling street but remains quiet inside. It was clean and comfortable.

  • Good – Kelly from United States – 29 May 2024 (7/10)

What could be improved: I wish that there were better directions regarding the inital entry into the facility. The instructions do not let you know which elevator or stairs to take to your room and I contacted the host multiple times before anyone answered. We were yelled at by the building security manager because he does not like tourist in the building and kept telling us people actually live here. Overall, the stay was good. However, the back bathroom smelled awful, like sewer gas was coming out of the toilet or shower. We had to leave that door closed and the window open so the whole apartment didn't smell.

  • Passable – Mikayelyan from Armenia – 17 August 2023 (5/10)

    The location is perfect

What could be improved: We have ordered Pick up on purpose to get to apartment easily, but the driver could't find the location of apartment for 30 minutes, and when we at last arrived we were late for free key pick up time for 5 minutes and the host charged us 25 euro.
Hot water problem, there was not hot water, they said that it is an electric boiler , and after the use needed to be recharged 30-40 minutes. But it took only 3 minutes, after water was getting cold.
No baby cot available even with supplement payment

  • Our stay in Rome was tainted due to the lack of assistance from the managing company of the apartment. – Lianet from United States – 19 May 2025 (3/10)

How relatively close to every place we wanted to go. Everything was about 20 to 30 min walk

What could be improved: What we didn’t like about the property was that they advertised it having 2 bathrooms and it only had 1.5. We were a group of 6 to use one shower. Also the bathrooms had a bad smell emanating from the sink on each bathroom. It smelled like black waters. We had to cover the bathroom sinks with towels and use the kitchen sink instead. Also when advertised they said it had beds for six, but the sofa bed was broken and two from our group had to sleep on the floor for the entire stay. When we asked them to fix it they told us that they could not do anything about it until the following week. They knew that it was broken and did not even offered to change us from apartments and they don’t want to give us a discount due to the inconvenience. So from now on I will never ever again rent from this management company as they are not equipped nor willing to help the customers.

  • Disappointing – Juliya from Ukraine – 14 April 2025 (4/10)

The apartment has a very good location

What could be improved: We didn't like that we weren't warned about the hot water, which needs to be turned on a couple of hours in order for it to heat up. And there is a problem with the sofa, we couldn't fold it out. We won't be returning to this apartment again, sorry

  • Great location dirty room – Almpertos from Greece – 17 December 2024 (6/10)

The location was great in the most popular and central streets

What could be improved: The one of the rooms was very dirty and the one of toilets flush didn’t work

  • Superb – Gabriela from Argentina – 22 June 2025 (9/10)

Departamento cómodo y excelente ubicación. Buena comunicación. Volvería a reservarlo en mi próximo viaje

  • Superb – Anna from Poland – 14 March 2025 (9/10)

Wszystko w najlepszym porzadku. Wygodne łóżka.

  • Superb – Arie from Israel – 23 July 2024 (9/10)

הדירה מספיק גדולה והיה נוח ל4 אנשים
יש מיזוג שעבד טוב ,מטבח מאובזר . מקרר קטן ומדיח כלים קטן .

What could be improved:

  • Bien, con algún detalle a corregir – Claudia from Chile – 3 May 2024 (8/10)

    La ubicación excelente
    En perfectas condiciones
    Muy luminoso

What could be improved: Mal indicada la dirección, Google maps lleva a otro lugar alejado. Fue difícil llegar y cargando valijas, fue una experiencia desagradable.
De uno de los baños salía olor a cloaca intenso.
    El sistema de cerradura.
