The Metro’s right there too (Ottaviano station), so you can hop over to the Colosseum or Spanish Steps without dealing with taxis or walking until your feet hate you. Evenings are lovely because you can wander back from dinner and actually enjoy the walk instead of fighting through crowds of people taking selfies. The staff gets this – they don’t just hand you a generic tourist map, they actually know which restaurants are worth your time and which gelato places haven’t sold their souls to Trip Advisor. Check-in was smooth, none of that Italian bureaucratic drama you sometimes get, and they sorted out my early arrival without making me feel like I was asking for a kidney. Sure, it’s not cheap, but honestly? For what you get and where you are, it feels fair. This is the kind of place that makes you plan your next Rome trip before you’ve even left.
