Hotel Description

You know what really struck me about Cavalieri Suites Roma? It’s got this unexpected quiet elegance tucked away on Via Alessandria – and honestly, that location is kind of genius. I mean, you’re in Parioli, which feels like where actual Romans live (not just tourists), but you can still walk to Villa Borghese in about ten minutes. The tree-lined street itself is pretty lovely, and there’s this authentic neighborhood vibe with local cafés and that great little market on Via Nomentana nearby.

The suites themselves are genuinely spacious – not that fake “European spacious” where you can barely fit your suitcase. I’m talking actual room to spread out, which is rare in Rome. The design feels contemporary but not sterile, if that makes sense. Clean lines, good lighting, and the kitchenettes are actually functional (I made coffee every morning and it didn’t feel like a sad hotel ritual). What I really appreciated were the small touches – proper blackout curtains that actually block the light, decent water pressure, and air conditioning that works without sounding like a jet engine. The staff at check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, no overly theatrical Italian hospitality, just helpful and efficient.

Here’s the thing about this part of Rome – it’s not where first-time visitors usually end up, but that’s exactly why it works so well. You’re close enough to hop on the metro at Liegi station (literally a five-minute walk) and be in the centro storico in no time, but when you come back in the evening, you’re away from all that tourist chaos. The neighborhood has this residential calm, especially at night. I found myself actually enjoying the walk back from dinner instead of just enduring it. There’s also decent parking nearby if you’re brave enough to drive in Rome – though honestly, I’d stick with the metro. The 8.7 rating makes total sense once you’re there; it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in the city, but it delivers on the things that actually matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than just crashing after sightseeing. It’s the kind of place where you can actually live a bit while you’re visiting, rather than just exist between tourist sites.

Reviews

  • Exceptional – Catalina from Netherlands – 29 May 2025 (10/10)

The staff was super friendly, the apartment was very big, clean with all the facilities

  • Exceptional – Josipa from Croatia – 23 April 2025 (10/10)

The apartment was perfect. Everything was clean, nice and easy to check in.

  • A nice apartment but with no kitchen facilities – Krzysztof from Luxembourg – 21 April 2025 (9/10)

A clean apartment, comfortable beds, a big bath (although the water flows too slow) , quiet, ceiling at 3,5 looks amazing

What could be improved: There is no kitchen, there is a kitchenette and a fridge shared between 3 apartments. The kitchen is equipped with 2 big plates, a few very small, a few cups and a few spoons/forks ( usually dirty/used) and a microwave. No pots, forget even about cooking an egg…
The apartment door does not lock automatically (confusing, by mistake we left the apartment open for the whole day, luckily nothing happened )

  • Exceptional – Rhea from Netherlands – 11 April 2025 (10/10)

    Everything

  • Superb – Rosie from Italy – 29 March 2025 (9/10)

    Tastefully decorated and comfortable

What could be improved: The lock was a little tricky at first

  • Highly recommend this accommodation – Yulia from Ukraine – 23 March 2025 (10/10)

Room was spacious and clean, as well as bathroom.
Great location not to far from all the attractions. And the restaurant downstairs across the street serves amazing food. My next visit to Rome would definitely stay here again

What could be improved: It was tricky to open the door first time , but once we understood how it works wasn’t a problem.

  • Really beautiful room with carefully curated fixtures and lovely attention to detail! – Olivia from Australia – 26 February 2025 (8/10)

Really beautiful room with carefully curated fixtures and lovely attention to detail!

What could be improved: Like others have said, accessing the apartment requires getting online codes for three doors, it was tricky!

  • Excellent for families – Jeevan from United Kingdom – 4 January 2025 (10/10)

    Near to public transport

  • Excellent! – Mardare from Romania – 11 November 2024 (10/10)

    Everything was superlative!!

    What could be improved: –

  • Not for me – Dario from Germany – 4 November 2024 (8/10)

Very clean, close to Termini (22 mins walk)

What could be improved: I was expecting an apartment, but it was a room with private bathroom. The kitchen was not equipped to cook. The room was very nice but a little bit too small, for 3 people it was a little bit too small. I had issues with getting into de apartment. The clerk was very rude and talked to me only in Italian I understood little. He ended up by opening the wrong apartment for me and left. I was trying to contact the owner but they didn’t reply on time. They told me everything regarding getting in except what apartment and what room. There are 3 doors to be open with your phone. It took me 20 mins to figurate out how to do it. I was so frustrated, just wanted go home. I would not recommend this place if you travel in a group and if you are not patient enough with gadgets. For a better price I found better places in Rome and the location is a little bit boring, right in the middle of the business quarter. Definitely will not book again. Thank you anyway.
