Campo De Fiori Home Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Campo De Fiori Home feels like discovering a secret that locals have been keeping to themselves. This four-star gem sits right on the fifth floor of a historic building overlooking one of Rome‘s most vibrant piazzas — and honestly, the location alone will make you feel like you’ve struck gold. The moment you step inside, you realize this isn’t just another hotel; it’s your own private perch above one of the city’s most authentic neighborhoods.
The Heart of Ancient Rome
You know what’s incredible about staying here? You’re literally living above the daily theater of Campo de’ Fiori market. Every morning, vendors set up their colorful stalls selling everything from fresh artichokes to handmade pasta, and by evening, the square transforms into this buzzing social hub where Romans actually hang out — not just tourists. The Pantheon is a five-minute stroll away, and you can wander to Piazza Navona without even thinking about it. I mean, when couples rate this place so highly for romantic getaways, there’s definitely something magical happening here.
Your Roman Sanctuary
The room itself strikes this perfect balance between historic charm and modern comfort that’s honestly hard to find in Rome’s centro storico. Large windows flood the space with natural light, and if you’re lucky enough to get a piazza-facing view, you’ll spend way too much time just watching the daily rhythm of Roman life unfold below. The furnishings feel thoughtfully chosen rather than hotel-generic, and there’s enough space to actually unpack and settle in — which matters when you’re planning to explore the city for days.
Living Like a Local
What I love most about this place is how it puts you right in the middle of authentic Roman life. Your morning coffee comes from the bar downstairs where locals grab their espresso, and you’ll find yourself shopping for wine and cheese at the same spots Romans have been using for generations. The evening aperitivo scene happens right outside your door, but when you want to escape the buzz, you just head upstairs to your quiet retreat. It’s this perfect combination of being in the action but having your own peaceful space above it all.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.5 rating and excellent location score of 9.8 really tells the whole story — guests keep coming back because this place delivers something you can’t get at the big chain hotels. You’re not just staying near Rome’s historic center; you’re actually living in it, waking up to the sounds of the market and falling asleep to the gentle hum of evening conversations drifting up from the piazza. For couples especially, there’s something undeniably romantic about having your own little Roman hideaway perched above one of the city’s most storied squares. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve discovered the real Rome, not just visited it.
Hotels near me in Rome deliver quick strolls to Colosseum tours, gelato shops, and hidden courtyards.

Emily from United Kingdom (10/10)
The location was fantastic, we were there as a family with our 4 children and could walk everywhere from the apartment. It was 25 minutes walk to the colosseum, 25 to the vatican, 7 to the Pantheon and 16 to Trevi Fountain. The square is lovely with a market in the day and restaurants in the evening. The apartment was very large and had a good selection of books and games for the kids.

Dal from United Kingdom (10/10)
The property is absolutely fabulous, spacious rooms will tall ceilings, well furnished, beds were super comfortable too. It’s located in a square (Campo de Fiori) that’s used for a market during the day and restaurants in the evening, as picturesque as you could hope for. Centrally located with all the sights within walking distance. Just overall great 10/10.
