The narrow cobblestone streets around here have been walked by Romans for literally centuries, and there’s something pretty magical about being part of that daily rhythm. Couples seem to get this especially well (the hotel mentioned they rate the location 9.8 out of 10), and I can see why — it’s romantic without trying too hard.

Your Room and Comfort

The room I stayed in was compact but smartly designed — you’re not here to hang out in your hotel anyway, right? The decor strikes that sweet spot between modern comfort and Roman character, with clean lines but enough personality that you don’t feel like you’re in a generic chain hotel. The beds are genuinely comfortable (trust me, after walking around Rome all day, this matters), and the bathrooms are well-appointed without being flashy. Air conditioning works properly too, which — let me tell you — is not something to take for granted in historic Roman buildings.

Morning Fuel

Breakfast here is a solid continental and buffet setup that actually gets you ready for the day ahead. Nothing too fancy, but they do it right — good coffee (this is Italy, after all), fresh pastries, and enough variety that you’re not eating the same thing every morning. I appreciated that they keep it simple rather than trying to be something they’re not. Plus, you can grab your coffee and pastry and head straight out to explore, which is honestly what you want to be doing anyway.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this is about being exactly where you want to be in Rome. When you can walk to the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and Trastevere all within 10-15 minutes, when you’re surrounded by authentic Roman trattorias and wine bars, when you can experience the morning market bustle and evening aperitivo culture just by stepping outside… well, that’s when you realize location really is everything. The staff gets this too — they’re helpful without being hovering, and they clearly understand that their job is to help you experience Rome, not hide from it.

  The apartment has two sizable rooms with two bathrooms, a nice sitting area and a pretty large and well furbished kitchen. The location could not be better and the staff were all very helpful, with Sara checking on us constantly to make sure everything was fine. It is on the third floor with no elevator so need to be aware in case you have issues with your luggage, but the staff is very upfront wit it and told us before we had to pay in case we wanted to cancel. Overall, a great stay
