Barberini 3 BDR Apartment Overview

You know what really surprised me about this place? It’s tucked right on Via delle Quattro Fontane – literally four fountains street – and you can actually hear the gentle splash of those baroque fountains from the apartment windows. Most people rush past them on their way to the Trevi Fountain (which is honestly just a five-minute walk), but staying here means you get to appreciate these quieter gems that Romans actually love.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual Roman home, not some sterile vacation rental. I mean, it’s got three proper bedrooms, so you’re not cramming into a hotel room situation, and the kitchen actually has real dishes and decent coffee gear – crucial when you want that morning espresso without hunting down a café before you’re fully awake. The building is old Roman style, which means thick walls that keep things surprisingly quiet despite being in the heart of everything. Though honestly, you’ll want to open those windows because the morning light streaming in is just gorgeous, especially if you snag one of the rooms facing the fountain side.

What I really appreciate is how walkable everything becomes from here. The Spanish Steps are literally around the corner – like, you’ll accidentally stumble upon them while looking for dinner. And that whole area near Via del Tritone? Perfect for actual shopping, not just tourist stuff. The Metro’s close enough when your feet give out (trust me, they will), but you’re positioned where you can walk to most of the big sights without feeling like you’re doing a marathon every day. The neighborhood gets busy during the day – it’s central Rome, after all – but evenings have this lovely settled feeling when locals are out for their evening stroll. Just a heads up though, if you’re planning to drive here, well… don’t. The parking situation is basically nonexistent, and the ZTL zones will eat you alive with fines. But honestly, you won’t need a car anyway – everything’s right there.

  • Fantastic Location and great amenities! – Casey from United States – 30 July 2023 (9/10)

Location was fantastic! Air conditioning was a life saver–especially since it had multiple A/C units, and we were there when Rome set temperature records. Apartment had everything we needed for our family of four to stay for a week.

What could be improved: Shower in the second bathroom was largely unusable for us. We also could have used a drying rack for when we washed clothes-washing machine worked, but drying was a challenge.

  • Pleasant but not perfect – Heather from United Kingdom – 26 November 2023 (6/10)

Super Personal, tolles Apartment. Super Lage für Besichtigungen
