Hotel Description
I’ll be honest – when I first saw the address on Via di Porta Pinciana, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from 900 Apartments Veneto & Pinciana. The name’s a bit of a mouthful, and apartment hotels can be hit or miss in Rome. But you know what? This place actually gets it right. The building sits right where the famous Via Veneto starts to curve up toward Villa Borghese, which means you’re literally a two-minute walk from some of the best people-watching terraces in the city. I mean, Via Veneto isn’t quite the glamorous movie-star hangout it was in Fellini’s day, but there’s still something special about grabbing an overpriced espresso at Café de Paris and watching the world go by. The apartment setup here is perfect for that kind of Roman rhythm – you’ve got your own little kitchen space, so you can actually store those gorgeous tomatoes you’ll inevitably buy at the market near Piazza Barberini (about a seven-minute walk downhill).
What really sold me on this place was the space itself. These aren’t cramped hotel rooms masquerading as apartments – they’re actual living spaces where you can spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re playing Tetris with your luggage. The kitchenettes are small but functional, and honestly, after a few days of heavy Roman meals, being able to make a simple breakfast or store some decent wine felt like a luxury. The area around Porta Pinciana is surprisingly quiet for being so central – you’re far enough from the Trevi Fountain tourist chaos but close enough to walk to the Spanish Steps without breaking a sweat. I loved that I could slip into Villa Borghese through the old city gate (literally right there) for morning runs before the day got too hot. The staff seemed to genuinely know the neighborhood too, which isn’t always the case – they pointed me toward this little alimentari on Via Sardegna that I never would have found otherwise, where the guy behind the counter makes sandwiches that put most restaurant paninis to shame.
The 8.8 rating makes sense when you consider what you’re getting for a 4-star place in this part of Rome. It’s not trying to be the Hotel de Russie with doormen in top hats, but it doesn’t need to be. The value proposition is solid – apartment-style comfort in a location that lets you actually live like a Roman for a few days instead of just racing between tourist sites. Check-in was smooth, the Wi-Fi actually worked consistently (not a given in Rome, trust me), and the air conditioning didn’t sound like a helicopter landing on the roof. My only minor complaint? The elevator is one of those tiny European ones where you have to choose between yourself and your luggage, but that’s pretty standard for older Roman buildings. If you’re the type who wants to duck into your own space between adventures, maybe cook a simple dinner with ingredients from the Borghese market, and fall asleep without sirens and scooters echoing off narrow medieval streets, this place hits that sweet spot perfectly.

高台にあるため。落ち着いた雰囲気があり、安心して過ごせた。洗濯が出来たこともありがたかった。
What could be improved:

What could be improved: Invechita, fara facilitat si neingrijita. Nu am beneficiat de caldura desi am mentionat proprietarului ca este friguros apartamentul.Exceptional – Slawomir from Poland – 5 April 2025 (10/10)
